Escape from Crimson Manor Ep.1

The graphics and puzzle where very well done. I enjoyed the puzzles and look forward to the next part of the story. There were multiple bugs that forced me to exit the game and restart. Walking in the hallway sometimes would trigger clipping of a wall then I would be stuck and can’t move or I would float to the ceiling and can’t come down. The swapping letters on books puzzle would glitch and books would go sideways into the back of the shelf and you can’t access them anymore. Not a bug, just frustration, The wheel cypher problems were not my favorite as the wheel only goes one direction and if you miss the letter, you need to go all the way around again.

I can’t seem to get the path on the globe to work properly. Tried to trace the path and even looked at a walk through but no luck. Otherwise it’s a great puzzle game. Hope the map/globe sequence gets fixed or improved.

I got a problem at the beginning and I restarted the game. Now it’s doing fine. Nice game.

Started to like the game but there is a glitch when you put the books in order to get the correct code of Chinese characters from the revealed purple bulb. I watched a walk through, did exactly as was shown and never got the code. Have deleted app and am really disappointed because there was real potential until that point.

I really enjoyed this. The puzzles and background art were very interesting, and I like the new 3d ui. I look forward to the sequel. I would like an option to reverse the panning direction when I swipe around so the world moves in the same direction as my finger. Good job.

The game specs said that it works on my old phone but it doesn’t at all. ☹️

Good game, decent puzzles, my only complaint is that the game is very dark, and it can be hard to see objects. It’s not a long game, but it’s reasonably priced. I look forward to the next chapter.

I think this is a great series. I saw the 3.6 review & that seemed extremely harsh. I love games like “The Room” & “House of Da Vinci”; this series definitely falls in that category. My only complaint is that the visual ascetic of the game is dark, which I like, but some of the puzzles can be hard to solve. There isn't enough of a contrasting color to be able to see them well. The only way I could solve the puzzles was to take a screen shot & zoom in to be able to tell what was going on. But that aside, I still like these games! & I really hope they’re going to add more to the series.
