I’ve been a patron of eShakti for a decade. I must own over 40 of their custom cut garments and have been 100% satisfied with them until recently. In March 2024 I place two orders totaling over $3000 USD. Late May I finally received five of the 45 garments I’d ordered. When I checked the app to see when I might receive the rest of my order, the app claimed that the entire order had been delivered. Website claimed the same. I called them and was placed on hold by an automated system until the same automated voice informed me that their customer service reps were busy so I should leave a message. I did. I’ve called every week (sometimes multiple times) since June 1. I’ve also sent SEVEN emails. I’ve received ZERO responses from them. Meanwhile, they’ve launched a new app for their Western customers called Zapelle. Apparently, they have time/ability to expand but not to serve longtime loyal customers. I’ll be going to a consumer advocate service and my local consumer advocate investigative reporter next. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY WITH ESHAKTI!!!
I used to love this company but in the past 6 months I've literally never had worse customer service. First my order was delayed, ok cool ... for 3 months. After three months of being told it was coming I asked to cancel the order and for a refund. I received an emailed confirmation that it was being canceled and I would receive a refund. And yet low and behold online they declared the canceled items delivered and never gave me a refund. And when I emailed via both their website and responding to their customer service emails again stating what happened, the just ignored me. And I have emailed, receipts, and ignored messages from them to back me up on this. I have proof of their refusal to refund a customer and they don't care, even when I submitted it to them. Do. Not. Shop. Here. They rip you off and then pretend they didn't until you go away because you're too tired from banging your head against a wall.
On October 16, 2023 I placed an order for 2 dresses, the app said it would be delivered 11/4. On 11/10 I contacted customer service to see where my order was - they replied there would be a delay due to quality issues with one of the dresses- ok no problem but since it would arrive late I no longer needed one of the dresses, they said they would cancel that dress for delivery and issue a refund - great- however I was never refunded for the dress. I then emailed them every month since (this is now June) and I have yet to receive a response back from them about my refund - almost 7 months from my original order.
This app and the business has the worst customer service. You place order and for weeks there is zero communication!
Over the years, I’ve ordered a few things from this site. Mixed results but when it worked, the clothes were great, which I why I am giving it to stars. In early December I ordered two dresses. I received one in March that was poorly made. I’ve been ghosted in my attempts to return it and the other dress never arrived. I’ve contacted them and get nothing.
What did you guys do? - unable to make images larger to see details - clicking to see garment in different color blanks the screen - options for pockets and zipper
This app had my phone locked down and the touchscreen unresponsive with a notification permission request. I had to hard reset my iPhone, thought I had a virus.
I ordered a dress for a wedding. It was supposed to be here by the 16th. It is the 22nd and I have not only not gotten the dress, but I have been unable to contact customer service in any way shape or form I have had positive experiences in the past, which is why this is so utterly disappointing.
The app is fine. But I’m extraordinarily disappointed with customer service and ability to deliver the product on time! I ordered a special occasion dress 5 weeks before the event. The app said that it would arrive 2 weeks before the event. It is now less than a week until the event and the dress has not arrived and the app says it is still in “pattern making.” No response from daily customer service calls or emails.
