Espresso from The Economist

Espresso hits a great balance of current sharp and brief. Gives great daily insight and some deeper access. Very disappointed that espresso doesn’t give full access to economist podcasts. Seems that economist does not consider you a subscriber if you have espresso.

One of the best apps out there for keeping up to date with current afairs. Though the frequent use of “Editors Notes” to just advertise other Economist products can get pretty annyoing

A great way to get a quick insight into the global news for the day.

Does a grand job, and Saturdays are always insightful and entertaining to read

App is delivered early every morning, and one week's worth of previous versions are available. Sometimes takes a few seconds to open but never fails or crashes

The Economist's Espresso feature gives, like its namesake coffee, an invigorating start to the day. It brings the main topics of the day to your smartphone, in an excellent précis form.

Espresso provides commentary on important local events and puts them into a global context; in addition to presenting the day's headlines in a concise format. It is an informative start the day.

Great app that gives you all the key news items from around the world and there possible consequences and repercussions all with a touch of cynical humour.

Great app, works without problem. World in brief particularly interesting with important items that somehow fall through the net of headline grabbing media institutions.
