I have the Aroma Tools Modern Essentials App. I’m not sure why they discontinued it for new users, but it is by far a better App than this one. This App is missing really critical information such as oils recommendation for treatment diabetes. It also hasn’t been updated for 2 yrs. Not a fan.
This app is a great concept but is a scam and a rip off of BitToast’s Essential Oils - Young Living app. I gave it 2 stars because the addition of the doTERRA information might be helpful for some, but everything else about the app is clearly stolen from BitToast’s. Also, the daily features have never actually loaded for me, and neither the website nor email address listed in this app’s description actually exist.
I was so excited to see dōTERRA and Young Living oils in this app, buy them I was so disappointed to find there are only single oils in the inventory and shopping list. What about the blends? Or maybe just the capability to add items that are not on the list?
Can’t remember if I had to buy this or not. Helpful, but not what I was looking for. Wanted to go more in depth on some oils ghat weren’t here.
This app required me to put in cc information before I begin the 3 day free trial. I have tried to cancel the yearly subscription after a day and there wasn’t a way for me to do so. I sent a message to the developer and haven’t received a response.
Can not find a legend for the symbols used to identify each oil. That makes the symbols useless
I’ve downloaded this app and the home page content is missing. Would love the recipes, tips and oil info. Please bring that back! Will increase to 4 or 5 stars!
Was putting my oils in so I had a list on the go but there isn’t any wintergreen missing a lot of oils!
Not every oil available is listed I refuse to pay a monthly fee for an app that can’t at least give a full few days free to see if it’s worth it. Needs to be able to select multiple oils at 1 time to add, single oils take forever to add. Sorry, not worth a monthly fee-
Don’t bother with this app. It’s not at all a good reference for beginners to essential oils. With the free version, you can lookup different ailments, but all you get is a descriptor of the ailment, no recipes or suggested oil combinations to actually address the ailment. You can add your own ailments. You can add your favorite essential oils. But doing so just creates an unnecessary list with no support for addressing the ailments with the oils. I’m not paying for this when there are numerous other apps that are far more helpful while remaining free to use.
