ESV Bible

I use to access plans offline, its been very helpful when not having any wifi or data. Now with the new update. Its fustrating that I hardly go on it anymore. Sad

Not only do I love the ESV commentaries, but this app also contains verses arranged by topics and a number of engaging reading plans to discipline my scripture reading and inspire me with the word. All tools, layout and libraries are tastefully designed and intuitively placed.

Just updated the app and now it no longer opens properly - splash screen appears and then disappears — and though it looks like the app is running in the background it just will not come to the front. Disappointing... not the first time we’ve had this problem... more testing required perhaps ?

Nothing better for a pure reading experience. Just like the ESV reader’s bible, you can turn on “reader’s mode” which removes all the verse markers. Plenty of customisation options and in app additions are available, but even the base app is totally functional and user friendly for the most part. Sent a suggestion for a minor bug fix/process improvement to the devs on the in-app feedback system. Will change review to five stars once that’s done, assuming it is fixed or added or both.

I have found this bible app one of the most useful apps I've ever used... and I've used quite a few. Great layout, not burdened with too many features yet the features it does have are top notch. Great translation. Remarkable. Well worth adding to your phone/iPad.

I love how simple and elegant this app is. It just gets out of the way of reading the text, and provides a beautiful way to sit with scripture.

I love this app! It's incredible! I love that you can search offline unlike other bible apps. I have two suggestions tho. Can the section headings be in bold to make them stand out a bit more. And in the study section it would be great to be able to put the people profiles in alphabetical order. Other than that, 5 stars. Love it!

This is app is soo nice to use, the layout is easy to use and theres nothing confusing about it. Its really lovely to have and i use when this when im out and about too. Ever since the crash (bug fix) it works wonders thanks :)
