Eterspire - Fantasy MMORPG

Excellent game, but missing party play, storage should be account wide also.

So, I downloaded this game because I saw a cute goat person in the screenshot. And on that front, this game does not disappoint: you can make a cute goat person. But, and you'll see this problem extends to every aspect of the game, the process of making a cute goat person is extremely bare bones. All the components are there, you got a variety of skin colors, faces, goat horns, goat ears, but you for some reason are utterly forbidden from equipping multiple head accessories. You can have a goat person with goat ears, but not goat horns. So your cute goat person ends up looking tragically half finished. And likewise, this game has Builds, but none of the options you have control over are particularly interesting until the very end of the skill try. Lots of "+3 strength" and "+50 max hp". You can't even learn new active abilities. You can grind for gear, but there's no nuance to what gear you want to get. Bigger number is better. Weapons have different stats, but the differences are minimal, and because there's no party system, there's no specific role you'll even want to fulfill as a player. There's bosses, but again, no party system, no active skills, so its just an awkward slap fight between you a guy with a lot of hp. There's a cash shop, and admittedly, the prices are pretty reasonable as far as mmo's and especially mobile games go. $10 gets you a full set of cosmetics, but also, who cares? Outside of stand out choices like Wings and Animal Tails and Paws, there's no real variety. All the armor is just plate armor, all the weapons are just some variety of clobbering stick with shield. Regardless of class. And yeah, there's classes, three of them even, but they all wear Plate, and they all use Sword and Board, and as far as I can tell, there isn't even a difference in the passive skills they can learn. Making MMO's is a huge burden for developers, normally the only reason a small team would ever take on that burden is because their dream MMO doesn't exist. But everything in this game, from the aesthetic, to the silly writing, to the systems, to the lack of meaningful choices, all exist in other indie MMO's already. Except for the Goat People, credit where it is due, I have yet to see an MMO where you can play as a goat person.

This game is a complete embarrassment to mmorpgs. There is no content other than go here kill x amount of whatever. There is no party system, no trading, no economy, nothing. It’s a glorified beta version of what a modern mmorpg should be. Three classes, all melee, skills are trash. Endgame (yes I played into endgame) bosses have abysmal drop rates and you rely on constantly using resources to “reroll” base stats on gear. It’s an ancient and quite frankly LAZY system. Oh sure the in game shop has all sorts of cool cosmetics but they do nothing except make you wonder why you bothered to support this company. This game is boring nonsense trash that feels like a relic from 20 years ago. It’s garbage.

Plays great and the devs have a lot in their update timeline, this game is just getting started so get in and level up =)

I was enjoying the game even though was dubious about there claim about cash shop being only cosmetic and not needed to fully enjoy game. Of course it’s not true, like all of mobile scams skinned as “games”. The amount of inventory space of 30 and bank space of 80 is so ridiculously low the game is not very playable at all after lvl 60 even taking continuous trips to make soul fragments to reduce space. My bank and inventory is now full of soul fragments which seems will be more and more crucial for later levels. Then they have cash shop of like 10$ for each expansion. 24$ is minimum you can spend to enjoy game after lvl 60. The response another review got that game is totally enjoyable or playable without the extra space is absolutely false otherwise they wouldn’t make it so low and then charge outrageous prices for expansion slots. No excuse for this. 1 out of 5 is all this game deserves for this alone. Tell people outright your predatory scheme so they know they will have to spend a lot of money on game before they download.

It started of okay, had some fun for about an hour, but gets really boring doing the same thing over and over without any real reward.

This a simple MMORPG. It doesn’t have those clunky features most other games have. Such as equipment sockets, silly side games, marriage, etc. most importantly, this is not a PtW game. All purchasable equipment is for cosmetic or eye-candy. The only thing has some impact is extra inventory spaces. This is where I am giving this game 4 stars instead of 5 stars. A character starts off with 30 personal inventory spaces and 80 storage spaces. If I want more, I have to ditch out $12 to increase personal spaces to 100. To increase storage spaces to 400, I have to ditch out another $12. That is way too expensive for extra inventory spaces. I don’t mind paying $5 for each expansion, not $12.

I decided to show some support to this small MMORPG after investing a few hours into it. However, I noticed a significant need for improvement in bag space. Hoping for a straightforward solution, I ventured into the cash shop, only to discover the usual practice of having to buy either two entry-level bundles or the second-tier bundle, leaving me with an excess of 80 coins that proved practically useless. Frustrated with these outdated monetary practices that treat players poorly, I ultimately uninstalled the game. I'm fed up with being subjected to such approaches that disregard the player experience. They also seem to be the same company as Galaxy Line, LLC that has a ton of BB complains for running a scam diet app. Be wary!

I admire the effort put into this game. However, I recommend: - better avatar graphics. - sheathing weapons - more environment items - the gear seems bland and outdated - more classes - the dialog font is not good. If I didn’t know any better the game seems like it in its alpha stage.
