Upgrade requires iOS 16. Why?
Happily using this for year and today I need to upgrade to iOS 16. In other words, my iPad is obsolete. Very annoying.

The recent app upgrade requires iOS 16.2 and now unable to gain access via the app. What about those of us still happily using iOS 15.8. Really poorly thought out!
Country menu won’t scroll, so I can’t choose UK and therefore can’t enter my number to complete the two-step verification. Phoned the helpline and was told my UK number would be linked to my account within 24 hours. Several days later….. nothing’s changed. Poor service!
They ask you to give them your address, but guess what? YOU CAN ONLY GIVE AMERICAN (US) ONE. APPARENTLY OTHER COUNTRIES NO LONGER EXIST IN THE WORLD!
Feb24 update has stopped app working on iPhone.
Since the latest app update introduced 2 factor authentication I’ve been unable to login to my account. My username and password are accepted but I’m then asked to register my mobile number for 2FA. I have a UK based phone number which generates an error about being unable to verify my number. This leaves me locked out with no option to proceed into my account. The help section of the website is of no use and the only support option is phone call, where the queue time is very long. After many years as an e-Trade customer this is a horrible introduction to the service offered by Morgan Stanley.
Now they have introduced the 2step verification I can’t access account at all. I try and verify my mobile number and because it’s a company phone it won’t work. I have no trouble at all on other apps. You can’t email them but you can post them a letter which is so in helpful . You can ring them but the queue is over an hour which is dreadful . I’m very disappointed with the service .

Lately this company has become a joke. Customer support is unhelpful and rude
it does not inspire you with confidence when you have to go in and out of pages to get them to work, and others do not load at all in the app. I can only imagine the archaic api that backs this app and has awful error handling. A necessary evil, but a poor imitation of better offerings elsewhere.
