Etsy: custom & creatieve items

I love Etsy as a platform to buy unique items, but after a recent update I can no longer filter on “shipping from Europe”. It’s either from everywhere or I can select only one country. As someone who prefers not to buy too much from the other side of the world, this makes it very difficult to search for items. I hope Europa will be added back as an option with the next update.

There used to be an open field option on the ships from filter. This is extremely important in Europe where people want to filter based on whether a country is EU or not to avoid import fees. At the very least, you should be able to chose multiple countries at the same time. And the selection should be remembered for the next search. Stop changing features without proper user testing and research. The little flag emojis may be cute but they do not make up for proper user experience.

When you type a message to a seller and leave the app to browse something on return the message is deleted. Same happens if you overlap the App with another app (iPad), when you close or move that app the typed message is gone. The Etsy app should take care to keep what was typed. Can’t find any place to report bugs like this, so here. Your customer support robot also is not smart enough to understand when I am trying to help you, so I put it here. Thanks for the response, however, the link you provide does not give met the option to send an email or so, it goes round and round. I spent more than enough time there.

I had a problem with my order. The customer service was very helpful an gave me a shop credit for my inconvenience.

I love the concept of Etsy, so much. And there’s so many lovely things to find. I just wish it was easier to use. I’m in the Netherlands and the many US shippers clogging up my search results are making it hard for me to use it regularly. I can filter the shipping country, but can only choose /one/ country at a time. Why not multiple? Or better yet, why can’t I exclude some countries from my search? Shipping from the US or UK is unreliable to my country and taxes are outrageous. I want to be able to search for things I can actually buy.

Since this update it is impossible to see where products are send from, that irritates me because I want to know if I need to pay taxes before I order.

Look I know you can turn them off, but they keep popping up or show as a number on the app which is extremely annoying. Everytime I open my phone, it shows at least 3 notifications from Etsy and I didn't even buy anything yet 😅please calm down
