This app constantly glitches and is so slow to use, every single time I want to make an appointment, which is a lot! Once I select a time and want to move on, it freezes. I try again, and the slot is taken. Repeat several times. And because it must be held somewhere, it thinks the reservation is gone, but it’s not! Same with the desktop site. Both are terrible to use and super frustrating to deal with.

Tried using the app but when entering birthdate it doesn’t accept the sample format. Too much time spent figuring out the quirks. Easier for me to call to schedule my appts. Needs work.

The app has been showing only a white screen recently and has become unusable.

I’ve been an EWC customer since 2017. They always encourage you to use the app and I finally started using it a couple months ago to manage my appointments. The first (and only) time I cancelled an appointment using the app, there was a computer glitch and I ended up being charged $90 for services I had cancelled. My appointment was for a Thursday. I cancelled on the app on Monday. Wednesday, I didn’t get a text from the center, so I know the appointment was successfully cancelled on their end. They always text to confirm the appointment the day before. Then on Thursday, I get charged for the three services I cancelled. When I call to ask what’s going on, they tell me the system says I cancelled it Thursday and since it was a same-day cancellation, they have to charge me for the services. I explain that I cancelled on Monday and even go in and show them on my app tracking on iPhone that I didn’t even use the app on Thursday (but did on Monday) so how could I have cancelled on the app on Thursday? They also confirmed that on Wednesday they texted all their clients with Thursday appointments and confirmed that they didn’t text me. Because it had been cancelled already! But no one would help take the charge off my credit card even after acknowledging that they believed me. There was a weird app error and I’m left with the bill. Don’t use the app for anything important. Just call the center for everything or find a different waxer.

The check in feature doesn’t work

I’ve opt’d out several times in the app from receiving sms messages. Yet, I receive text message appointment reminders. When I go back to my app, the sms toggle has been switched from opt out to opt in. When I ask the front desk, they are aware of it but blame it on the system and are unable to “fix it”. You are opening yourself up to $1500 in fines per violation when you text a client that opt’d out of receiving texts. All part of TCPA regulations. This needs to be addressed immediately or many clients can sue for unsolicited text messages.

My adornments don’t show up in the app.

I have previously signed up but forgot my password. Tried to reset password app does not send verification email as stated!

Mobile check-in never works!!

The app doesn’t allow for me to schedule appointments at my salon. It says there are no available specialists and you can only schedule one service at a time. The app is very helpful and easier to connect with than the local salons via phone. Please fix
