Functional app. It would be great if you could curate the individual news sources, or even subscribe to custom RSS feeds. It would also be very cool if this could be used as a Linux shell over SSH or something, seems like a very capable text display. One annoying thing is the Bluetooth connection drops if the app is dismissed from recents - it would be nice if the app could run in the background.
Disconnects from app often. Need to open the app regularly to keep the glasses from disconnecting
The product does not work properly and they won’t return your money after 14 days. Do yourself a favor and not order a useless product
Great app
Love the Glasses and they are part of my EDC. The only issue I have is that if I open the app and have Spotify open at the same time the music will not work. Makes the connection super spotty to the point where it is unusable while having the app open to get all the features for the glasses. If they fixed that issue it would 100% be 5/5 stars.
This is my dream product. As a student, bike commuter, and with a diverse family, I would love a pair. The balance of technology in these glasses beautifully illustrates how technology should be an accessory for our lives, instead of our lives being accessories for technology. I’m saving up to buy a pair, but I’ve already downloaded and signed up on the app! I can’t wait :)
The Even G1’s are undoubtedly the future of minimalistic AR glasses. The simple display green led works perfectly for its intended purpose and the features (while limited) are very useful. The app is somewhat buggy, the biggest issue being connectivity. As far as I’ve seen from using it these issues mostly sort themselves out. Annoying? Sure. Detrimental to the service that these glasses provide? Not at all. The only thing I haven’t been able to figure out is why the bitcoin stock on the dashboard refuses to refresh. 4/5, soon to be 5/5 as updates roll in. Thanks to the developer team! Also shout out to the discord and subreddit, they are extremely helpful for troubleshooting.
These glasses have been awesome. Delivers exactly what I expected for my use cases. I appreciate the updates to features and bug hunts. I plan on using their open API to modify content. Keep up the great work on these extraordinary glasses.
