Everdell

Got this as I wanted to test before getting the board game ... I'd me loving it if it were not for the sizing on my I phone. One of the goals in the tree was shopkeeper and post office to trade up to three resources for double in victory coin... but the resource I want to exchange (wood) is blocked out by the confirmation/ cancel buttons and I can't complete. It's so incredibly annoying and makes it impossible to play. Please fix it as I have first world rage 😂

I am new to the game and enjoy it though the beginning of lost games feel very random as tactics don’t seem to come into play for a season or two. It is good that you have a flower icon which displays the meadow cards but it is very difficult to see the cards in my hand. It would be helpful to have an icon to see that as well (or even instead of the meadow as you can just zoom in on the meadow but you can’t with your hand, you have to click on each card individually). This probably doesn’t bother season players that know the cards but newer players need to read the blurb. Also, the music is a little tedious. Compare it to the background score on Wingspan and you’ll see what I mean. The artwork and the design of the game is lovely and a bit more love in the music and this could become a really fun nature based game

Would be nice to be able to access the expansions as well.

It’s beautiful, and the inclusion of challenges is a great idea. It’s really buggy though. For instance the music won’t play anymore, sometimes forest locations (despite being free) won’t allow you to drop your worker. Please do another patch!

I played the board game for the first time with a couple of friends who told me about the app. It was really nice to play together, the game is great but with having to zoom in to see all the fine print, I keep placing cards by accident or making moves I dont want just by trying to navigate around the board. Please add a go back button to help me follow through with my tactics rather than deal with the collateral for looking around the playing field.

I love the physical board game Everdell, so was excited to get the app. I’m really struggling to play it though: so much zooming in and out to see different parts of the screen and the detail on the cards. Some of the info displayed on the screen can end up obscuring objects/locations, depending on how you have it zoomed. I also don’t like the way the cards lose their names once you’ve played them into your town. I find myself constantly having to click on things or enlarge them in order to remind myself what they are, and then hold that in memory while I try to work out if anything else on the screen will work well with them. All in all, very frustrating, which is a shame, as it’s absolutely beautiful to look at.

Love this game wish I could add the expansions

Got introduced to the original board game over christmas and really enjoyed the design of the board, cards and gameplay - as someone who typically doesn’t enoy board games, this is a huge deal haha. This app is a lovely extension of the game!

Great looking adaptation and it plays very well. Would love to see an undo button as you can easily click on a card or option without meaning to confirm it and the game has moved on! Would also love to see some expansions in the future but that’s just me being greedy!!

Won’t let you skip character abilities you *may* trigger such as the judge. Very very very annoying. Shame as the rest of the game seems like a good adaptation.
