you cannot use the app without paying or a free trial. when you sign up for a free trial, it will SAY it didn’t work, however it did. they want to make sure you don’t cancel. make sure to go into subscriptions and cancel before the 3 days is up or you’ll be charged. other than that sneaky little move, i would honestly have given 5 stars. it identified a spider that even google kept getting wrong. it’s pretty accurate.
It was not able to scan a photo for me
This is set up like a scam. It’s a pricey subscription per month but deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. So the three day trial almost automatically causes a charge. App Store does not have a feature to cancel this though terms and conditions say only the App Store can be used to cancel the subscription. Will have to take this in another direction to resolve.
It uses bad quality and is not very accurate….
I used this app 1 day and quickly determined it wasn’t specific enough for my needs. After 5 days of a 1 week free trial, I was charged. Immediately i attempted to cancel the subscription but after 3 weeks still am getting charged. There is no easy way to cancel this subscription
just use the google photo search for free. They are both inaccurate but at least one you don't have to pay for. I tried to test this app on several of the simplest of items and all the were not identified accurately. It showed similar items or designs but never got the correct info, yet when I looked up the item in google using a few key search words, most came up right away. So if you're trying to find out a brand or designer as the app suggests you're better off taking the time to look for yourself through google. I took a pic of a Reebok sneaker and it showed me every off brand, wrong color, etc. The dog breed thing is also a joke. It identified my dog 5 times as 5 different breeds. Some of them laughable. Not trying to be offensive to the developers but I think before making people pay monthly for this it should be made far more accurate. (The sound portion was OK-ish, named 2 of 5 songs, and did correctly recognize a mourning dove call) I'm sure there's lots more to explore in the app but I was too frustrated to keep going.
Got this app to research markings on bottom of old pottery, one tea cup specifically said it was Dresden and the AI determined it to be an Arabic bowl. Not worth it!
I’m not using and need help canceling. Help screenshots are unclear on how that works.
Scanning a photo of an avian pelvic girdle from the Pacific Northwest produced unrelated results from images taken in Vietnam. It also showed images of harbor seals. Not very useful. Ended the free trial after about 10 minutes. Not worth paying for.
..And wants a credit card up front for a free trial. I’m too forgetful for that. No, thank you 🫤 Also it’s $7 (!) a week unless you immediately spend $40 for a year. It’s clear that they want you to buy the year, but if you don’t want to you’re spending $30 a month
