Poor reading experience since issue 278?
The magazine used to be somewhat optimised for reading on mobile device (wasn’t perfect but it worked) sort of like a ebook and you were able to magnify the images a little etc. Now it’s the same layout like the printed magazine and saved like images of poor quality so page takes like a third of your screen and you have to be pinch and panning constantly. On top of it the text is part of the image as well so quality degrades when you pinch to zoom to read it. Good magazine but bad experience and possibly the worst app ever...
Disappointing
Would not call the latest app useless, however the previous app was more intuitive with better content.

This app constantly crashes. I haven't been able to read an article yet. Can't even submit feedback because it freezes.
Great magazine
I've transitioned from being a paper to an online subscriber to this magazine and I'm glad I did. Extra features like videos and 'read anywhere' portability mean I get the most bang for my buck
Missing some of the favourites.
Love the idea of a iPad magazine, and it is pretty good. Though it is missing a couple of my favourite parts and they are the 'buyers guide' & 'just looking'. I thought I was buying the whole magazine but just in an electronic form.
If your new to the magazine, it is a good purchase but for a regular reader I would appreciate the complete hard copy version more so than this.

Have to say, I really like this app.
Have been a big Evo fan over the years, so decided to try this iPad option when I purchased one recently. The app is superb, with the addition of video and sound, its a whole new way to experience your fave cars.
Had a little glitch with downloading, and again, as per a previous reviewer, the guys sorted for me in no time at all, with multiple, attentiive and explanatory emails - superb back up service !
Highly recommended app and magazine !
Subscription improvements
Decided to give myself a present for Christmas and purchased a subscription to Evo. Unfortunately, I discovered I was experiencing problems with accessing issues I should have been entitled to (they were still for purchase rather than for download).
However, I contacted Dennis Publishing via email explaining the issues I was experiencing; they responded very promptly with very clear instruction and the problem was resolved in just over a day.
Now I have two issues on my iPad and I love the digital version even better than the paper one!
Great photos, videos and additional content make the "digital magazine" a great experience.
EVO Review
Excellent magazine with a great format. The interactive elements make a real difference and add another dimension to the mag. The only issue is the size of the download...it took three attempts to download the 500MB file. It would also be good to have the possibility of having a 12 mth subscription and a push subscription that would download automatically each month.
