The App full filled all my requires when reading a book.

This app is refreshingly simple to use and works like a charm

But missing the kindle app highlight feature.

I was looking for an app like this for a while, this one is perfect. It’s free, easy, quick and even lets you upload a pic of the book cover! The scan to text is very accurate, even in low lighting. Kudos! Lisa

Normally free apps are either really not fun to use with ads or a bad UI or they’re fun to use but they’re bloated and have too much stuff to them. This app manages to be neither. It’s perfectly simple but not too simple. Great job! Toronto represent!! Some small feedback: 1) when taking a picture of text in a book, it’d be nice to be able to click the volume buttons on the side of the phone to snap a photo (one hand is often already used to hold the book) 2) the undo icon after you’ve taken a photo looks like a rotate icon too. I clicked it thinking I could rotate the photo only to see my photo reverted to the original 3) it seems I can’t take a photo of text horizontally. My phone / photo has to be vertical in order for the text recognition to work 4) if I snap a photo of a long paragraph the text recognition software will add a bunch of newlines wherever the line breaks in the book / text. So every time I’ll go through the computed text and delete these newlines one by one, which is a bit annoying 5) the excerpts themselves shouldn’t be highlighted with that lime green colour IMO, and should have a bit more line spacing Don’t let my nitpicks take away from what I said earlier though. This is a fantastic beautiful simple app and I’m thoroughly pleased with it. I love the icon you’ve made for this app, the Excerpt highlighted green logo that sits at the top, and the sans serif font you picked for the book list page, and the serif font you picked for the excerpt list page. Congratulations with what you’ve made here!

This app is essential for book lovers! I’m so used to taking pictures of book pages to keep on my phone and now they can be stored in one convenient place and converted to text for easy browsing. I love that it lets me upload my own covers. Definitely recommending this to all my reader friends!
