Exoticca: Travellers’ App

Wonderful trip, great planning and accommodations. Unlike any tour guide “Mr. Nono” made it exceptional as he majored in the history of the Iberian peninsula, bedside his knowledge for the tourist destinations. This was a plus as the history of Iberia is very rich. Bus are very clean and smooth drive (thanks to Carlos). We just returned from a 20 day trip through Peru and Ecuador using Exoticca travel We were mostly very pleased with our experiences traveling with exoticca. All of our travel connections went smoothly, and there were many on this trip. Drivers in coaches, minivans or taxis miraculously show up at your lodging or airport to whisk you away to your next hotel, airport, or activity There is almost always an English speaking guide awaiting you, with the only exceptions being that most of the drivers spoke Spanish only. It is worth noting that exoticca is a company from Spain. Thus your actual travel itinerary in other countries is farmed out to travel companies from the host countries. Both Peru and Ecuador had outstanding local companies, used under the exoticca banner Positives: The connections, guides(again, from home country travel agencies), were timely and clear. The optional and included tours were excellent, meaningful and fun. The tours were easy to find…an English speaking person comes to your hotel at an appointed time to pick you up and take you on stated tour. We never had a glitch or problem with any items on our itinerary Problems : very few. Exoticca insists on you not missing your flights, so they get you to the airport in almost laughably ample time We left the hotel at 2:40 am and 3:30 am for seperate flights. One time, we had a poorly booked connection in which we spent all day flying the short distance from Lima to Quito, including a layover in Bogata Columbia! Recommendations: Bone up on your Spanish Get duallingo or other language ap 2 months before you leave. Bring all the required medications for traveler’s diarrhea(nuff said) Take all the optional trips you can afford We enjoyed it immensely! Also met great people in our groupings. This was my first tour ever! Our driver Adrian was awesome and went out of his way for us! The tour guide Joan Greene was so knowledgeable with history and all kinds of local information and tidbits! She was funny made us laugh and had a beautiful voice and sang to us! We even had a limerick contest which I won!!:) my only complaint was being on a tight schedule which since I never was on a tour I wasn’t used to that! The bus made plenty of stops for photos etc I can’t wait to go in another tour! I give both Joan and Adrian a10 out of 10! They were terrific and enjoyable !

Just got back from our 1st trip with Exotica to Portugal and we enjoyed every minute of it. Exotica did everything they said they will do from picking us up at the airport on time the day we arrived to dropping us off at the airport the last day, and everything in between. Bus was on time every morning at the hotel to start the day as scheduled, tour guides were great , we had plenty of free time in every stop and all our stops were fantastic. We will definitely use Exotica again for our next travel .

Wonderful Trip! I was not sure if I would like a group tour style of travel, but everything was perfect. Our guide, David, was very knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions. We will book another tour in the near future.

The hotel and food arrangements are extremely poor. I was told that if I paid extra, I would get a better hotel. I paid the extra amount, but this turned out to be false. The tour schedule was not designed with the guest's comfort in mind. The timing was very inconvenient, and my family and I suffered as a result. There are 23 people in my group, and I'm certain they all had a similar experience.

En la misma, me piden más info para revisar mi caso. Porqué no lo hicieron cuando al terminar mi viaje a Perú hice exactamente eso y ni siquiera me contestaron ?? El peor anuncio negativo para una agencia de viajes como ustedes es un cliente viajero al que le hicieron el viaje miserable. Y que tuvo que gastar miles de dólares además del costo de la excursión para sobrevivir esa excursión de pesadilla.
