Express & Star Newspaper

Great daily local paper but just a few to many adverts but I understand that add bring in revenue. I would b be great if they re-introduced the Saturday Pink football paper there isn’t any Saturday night sports papers anywhere nowadays.

The PDF of the paper is excellent for viewing on a tablet.

One of The easiest apps to navigate

For the Second time there has been an update I am unable to access my digital edition there is a digital access screen shot which I don’t have only a direct subscription have telephoned the help line no help at all very frustrated

I keep this app and subscription via ITunes because I think the E&S is probably the best local newspaper in the country. Previous app was a buggy mess. New version vast improvement.

Most of the news in the paper is usualy a day late. Wolves coverage good. Local news not bad.

Rubbish. Now I can’t get the Star on my iphone as the new App is for ios 11 and over and mine is 10. I have no intention of buying a new phone just for the Star. On my ipad I can’t now get 2 pages across the screen in landscape format. Can’t now get all the pages across the bottom. I thought an update should represent progress - this is the reverse. Otherwise I enjoy keeping up with news in the city especially Peter Rhodes Maurice Williams

Appalling service, app never works and every time it’s updated I cant log in on my iPad. Ive cancelled my subscription in the past because of this and probably will do so again, which is a pity because I read it for the local sport

Like most things today the good old E & S has jumped on the bandwagon. They went digital they decided we can make money, not people’s pleasure, why do they need to have subscription. I enjoyed catching up with all the local news while on holiday, but not now so thank you E&S for spoiling yet another great institute.

Persevere with this as it is a great local newspaper, this app however is far and away the worst I have to deal with. Currently have the delete and reload the app every day to get it to work. Latest in a long line of issues Please update and improve this app, is no one listening !!
