Exwayboard, a smarter E-board

This app is the worst.

The title says it all. What a disappointment. Besides the parameters and gear changing while moving, cruise control, and setting the accelerator to go into reverse when pulled back on, THAT’s IT.

Got an Atlas 4wd. I own 10 other boards, hands-down Atlas is the best. They are surely bound to become the Burton of eskates. As for the app? It does everything I need. The braking and acceleration curves are perfect now. Note that if you have dual-Esc you will need to tweak each separately. Nice job, Exway. I’m heading out for a skate now…

Overall it’s a decent app and easy to use but pretty basic, not comprehensive in the least bit. Needs more options, better/more tutorials and a reference manual.

Perfect to customize your ride, especially for a nerd like me.

Could it be better? Yes, but then again so can everything in life. Does it work as intended and allow customization and setting safety parameters for newbies? Yes it does. And compared to the MEEPO Mini I used to ride, the Exway Wave Riot and the Exway app seems like cutting edge esk8 technology.

I love the app and that you can customize acceleration and braking. The following please needs improvement: 1) app didn’t seem to sync right and board suddenly had no braking at all 2) dash should include average and maximum speed, so you can review after your ride 3) adjustments for gears are glitchy and won’t move/respond at times. Other than that the app and the board is great.

The app is incredibly easy to use and self-explanatory. That, in combination with the remote, provides a premium user experience that makes me feel like the money spent was worth it. And don’t even get me started on the board itself. Exway is going to the top for sure.

Just got the flex a couple of days ago. Tried changing settings on the app Unfortunately settings or changes to acceleration curve, and brake curve doesn’t transfer to board and remote as well as other settings except for one. I max everything out on gear 1 and 2 to see if changes will atleast transfer and both still says 6mph and 13mph. Only change that worked was safe mode. Will try to delete and reinstall the app to see if it works. Maybe just a bug or just needs to be uninstalled. hopefully will be fixed.

Please add the cloud wheel size support on 105 and 120 . How can the app not include those wheel size options while Exway is selling cloud wheel packs?
