This app is terrible. It user unfriendly does not provide information or let you find out what section you are in. As a sailor i have tried to use this app. The minute your out of internet range it’s a struggle. Why not make the app so it works without the web. Terrible terrible app😩🤪
Update needed
Reef map is okay but river systems are unclear and very hard to navigate, please put in some details to the land structures/river systems
Adding different overlays would help a lot too, 50% satellite overlay for land only or something with park zones still on
Adding grid lines (optional) would help a ton (making the map like the printed one)
Very poor updating.
The reviews tell you the story of this app. 1 star for a reason. Just read everyone else’s reviews and you will see why. The developer/s need to update this crappy app so it will give you the ability to check areas in advance for trip planing, etc. iI should also show from the Queensland/NSW boarder north, not just the Great Barrier Reef area. Plenty of green zones down around Moreton island.
Best ever
I love this app
Be better
Great idea bad execution won’t load correctly half the time only shows some areas.
Useless
Cannot scroll on marine park map without it reverting back to your current location every 5 seconds. Therefore unable to research where marine parks are ahead of a planned trip. Needs to be updated with something like the NSW fish smart app which works seamlessly and gives the honest people an opportunity to try and work within the thousands of rules placed on fishing.
Seems useless for my area
I live at Woodgate Beach - map shows nothing below Bundaberg, not even the area around Fraser Island - K’gari.
Do not use for Spearfishing
This app expressly tells users they can spearfish in areas that they legally cannot. Example, Keppel Island areas that Qld fisheries have prohibited this app says go for it…
Can’t upload
Tried multiple times to upload a sighting with a video attached and the app keeps crashing.
Worst App
This is without doubt the worst app I have ever used. Was it designed by a classroom full of pre-schoolers using crayons and finger paint?
If you want people to actually be educated and use this abomination, then maybe a map overlay might be a good start so that users can actually understand where they might be.
Absolutely pathetic!
