Encourages fake living
The app itself works well for its intended purpose, however, I believe these kinds of apps should not exist and go against their goal of making people feel better about their appearance. This app causes harm by encouraging a fake life, where we are encouraged not to accept ourselves as we are. This damages authenticity, self-acceptance and feelings of worthiness, the very things that bring about the happiness that we expect to get from editing photos of ourselves to make ourselves look better. In short, a well-created app, but the efforts were made in the wrong direction.
