Beware of Subscription Issues and Poor Customer Service
I recently had a very disappointing experience with the Face Yoga app, prompting me to advise potential users to proceed with caution. Initially intrigued by the program, I signed up for a 4-month trial via Facebook, hoping to explore what Face Yoga had to offer. Unfortunately, my journey with the app took a turn for the worse upon attempting to cancel my subscription. Despite contacting the company to cancel after the initial trial period, I was dismayed to discover that my request had apparently been overlooked or ignored. Unbeknownst to me, the app continued to charge me for a service I had ceased using since 2022. It was only upon a detailed review of my financial statements that I realized the ongoing payments. Upon reaching out to the customer service team to resolve this issue, I was met with a response that was both disheartening and frustrating. The company cited their terms and conditions, stating that without a cancellation 24 hours before the subscription's renewal, I was ineligible for a refund. Despite my clear communication and lack of usage, their solution was merely to cancel my account to prevent future charges, offering no compensation for the oversight or the unwarranted charges that had accumulated. This experience has not only left me out of pocket but also significantly disappointed in the lack of empathy and customer care demonstrated by the Face Yoga team. While I understand the importance of policies, the rigid adherence to them at the expense of customer satisfaction and fairness is alarming. I would caution anyone considering this app to think twice and ensure they are fully aware of the subscription terms and the potential difficulty in navigating customer service should issues arise. In a world where digital wellness and customer experience are paramount, it's unfortunate to see a company fall short in these critical areas. I had hoped for a resolution that acknowledged the oversight and valued me as a customer, but instead, I am left advising others to be wary of committing to a service that may not have your best interests at heart.
