Fairway & Kenwood Cars

We’ve been customers for around 20 years and we’re always happy with the service. That was until today. Have no idea what has happened with the company. In our case it’s not about the drivers which have always been very polite, but the employees answering the phone to take the bookings. On two past occasions, I decided to take a deep breath and forget about it but our experience today has prompted me to write this review. I won’t waste my time describing the extremely uncomfortable moment that I’ve gone through, it was simply appalling. Have never come across that level of disdain, lack of education and disregard for the customer. Needless to say that Fairway & Kenwood number has been deleted from my contacts as we won’t be using them ever again.

Have used Fairway&Kenwood cab firm for the past 15 years. Last few times have been a nightmare. Late drivers who don’t know where they’re going/drop off at the wrong location. Will be using other options from now on. Shame.

Cancelled my pre ordered cab one hour before supposed to pick us up. That meant we missed our theatre outing. No apology or compensation . Appalling company .

Useless, cancelled 3 times on the same trip. I thought it was a technical glitch so kept trying. Waste of time. Just take it off the App Store if it doesn’t work!!!

Have tried a variety of airport taxi companies in London over the years and these guys (though not perfect) are consistently the best, by far. With other companies I have often had problems on early morning pick ups (“oh they got stuck in traffic”...at 5am on a Sunday?!?! - yes, you dreadful BA Transfers) but touch wood I have never had a problem with Fairway. Only slight consistent problem is being met at Heathrow but eventually you manage to track each other down.

Rip off taxi drivers. Trying to charge you extra on the road for using certain roads, even though not a toll road. Unheard off behaviour for taxis in all my years in England. Taxi company entirely unresponsive when complained later. Will never use again. Uber much better alternative to these rip off taxi companies.

It won't even let me set it up keeps asking for issue number - there isn't one... go figure!! Won't. Other now

Great App use it regularly to book journeys to Heathrow got 10% off to super!!

App would be better if it provided an estimated time of arrival once you book a taxi. This is the reason that I more use Uber despite the prices being almost the same.

App gave me a price multiple times and cancelled it after ordering. Once I called up I was told my quotes were invalid... Therefore useless app! Do NOT purchase!
