Got for myself vgate icar pro dongle. Tried car scanner and many other apps but for them to work correctly I would need to pay. After installing and deleting around 20 other apps came across faslinkx. App that’s somewhere at the end of list in AppStore, Installed it opened and it said connected I didn’t have to do anything and was surprised cuz no need to connect it manually no need to set anything. Scanned for ecu errors nothing well there’s nothing atm. Faslinkx also shows some info about coolant temp and etc not really interested in those only wanted app to find and delete ecu errors on iOS if any in the future. This app works perfectly and just want to say thanks to person who made it. 😚
Crashing every time I try to use the live mode…
Doesn’t work
I waste my money. This device is a piece of trash. Options are not allowed in many vehicles. Don’t buy this garbage.
First, horrible instructions one has to search to find. Then, once found, the device cannot be found by the phone. When I try manually, I tap and tap when it pops up, but still cannot connect. If I cannot use it, it is worthless.
The scanner works great in my opinion I have fault codes that are from different car that are saved in saved fault codes no option to get rid of them I diagnosed my aunts car reset the car with the app and it ran great it detected a misfire only problem in my oppinion is some information doesn’t read
For what I have used it for, it works great with my FasLink M2. I’ve seen negative reviews, but for advanced features that I haven’t tried to use, so I can’t comment on those. For me, so far so good.
I have the Jdiag Bluetooth device, initially used the Nezscan app and then it changed to FasLink. The device seems to do a good job of codes retrieval but I had an issue with the app stopped showing my tips and troubleshooting info, and fails to find make and model if scanned or enter VIN. Reached out to customer service via the app feedback and got no responses.
Doesn’t support my 2002 Ford Escape V6, FWD.
