Faye Travel Insurance

This is my second overseas trip that I have insured with Faye travel insurance. I actually feel like if I had a claim, someone would be there to help me. One of the best positives is that it is primary insurance. Most travel insurances are secondary. I’m Never going to use a different company again!

Fortunately we didn’t have any medical issues as seniors traveling for over a month through Europe. Faye sent frequent helpful messages such as which airport gate for our next flight and updates on delayed flights even before the airlines notified us. We felt Faye was watching out for us.

I have questions before I pay. Website says download app to chat. The only thing you can do on the app is buy. I don’t want to commit in order to ask questions, so it’s very frustrating.

The day before I left Australia ( back to USA) I started receiving urgent message about day and time change of my flight . It indicated that my flight would be delayed one day and at different time, which caused grave inconvenience. I contacted the airline company directly to confirm it but I was told nothing was changed and the flight schedule would remain as scheduled. I also contacted Faye but did not receive any clear answer via chat agent , called Zoey . She only said she would be investigating , assuming it was a technical glitch and would come back to me with an answer but it never happened . I never received any serious response. Even on the actual flight day , I kept receiving urgent messages regarding gate changes from Faye . At that point, I did not take any message from Faye seriously. I will not recommend anyone to use the service from this company called “ Faye “, as there are many other reliable and professional businesses that offer much sincere and reliable travel insurance services. Who needs to receive and get stressed out over such false and very urgent messages.

Bought because of trip cancellation option and preexisting illness option since my mom is old . Didn’t need to use but had piece of mind. What surprised me is the excellent communication throughout trip. Knew when I arrived in Mexico , offered to tell me about local places. Faye knew gate changes before my Southwest app knew them. Worth it. Will use on next trip again

We have been on several trips across the pond and have bought travel insurance from lots of sources. Although thankfully, our trip was without incident, the communication from Faye was amazing. I felt totally supported and like there was help if we needed it at any point. We will use Faye from now on. Thanks!

Would not recommend if your travel plans are flexible. Faye requires you to have everything pre-booked in advance of your trip and does not accomodate changes / extensions.

I put Faye on notice that my flight was indefinitely delayed because someone dropped a phone into the cargo hold through a crack in the floor in the First Class section which posed an explosion risk and the pilot refused to fly the plane until it was found. They made us get off the plane. I texted Faye just to put them on notice of a possible claim due to delay or cancelled flight. They responded IMMEDIATELY asking for updates and prepared for a claim. Luckily they found the phone so it was just a two hour delay so no need for a claim but I was very impressed how promptly Faye responded and was ready to help out with a claim. Coupled with the very reasonable fees for the trip insurance I am sold on Faye.

So I bought trip insurance and stupidly put in a wrong date. I contacted Faye through the app, and someone was chatting with me within a few seconds. I explained the situation and she fixed the dates and had a new policy sent to me with the change within literally 20 seconds. I’ve never purchased trip insurance before, but I will definitely be using Faye for any future trips. If this interaction is any indication of how good their coverage is, it speaks volumes. Customer service is everything, and honestly, when buying something like this through an app, it’s hard to expect much. I was so pleasantly surprised. I have used FAYE on a recent trip and also got the added additional Rental car coverage. Fortunately I didn’t need to make any claims so I can’t say how good they are in paying when needed. I mainly trusted reviews of others. I will say I have dine chat with FAYE support about my coverages and they were quick to answer anything I asked. I have 2 future cruise vacations booked and covered by FAYE!
