Errors
I have mostly enjoyed the app but occasionally there will be a glaring error in the instructions that doesn’t make sense or I feel needs correcting. I’ve wrote feedback to the app designers before but no one ever replies.

I don’t like it how u have to pay to play the songs why can’t it just be free to play certain songs and you unlock some on your way.
I love the app and has helped me start my journey to playing guitar. The easy to follow lessons are great for beginners to intermediate players. I looked at other learning options and found myself always going back to this app for the best learning and comprehension. Love it.
This has been my go-to app for learning guitar for more than four years, but I’m increasingly disappointed with the quality. Many of the lessons are over-simplified versions of songs, but I want to learn the full, accurate versions. The app is messy and poorly organized. (There should be better ways to organize favorites or view songs and riffs.) The price doubled at my most recent renewal (and I could find any way to add a discount code), so I will be cancelling my subscription this year. There are better apps out there to learn guitar and I will stick with them.
You have to pay like 174 for one year.i would only recommend for rich people.
I really love the way that the instructor takes his time to go through the material, this is one of the best song tutorials in the Fender catalog. Fender really needs to bring back Fender live but with him as the main host. He was very good in the beginning when I first joined. Eugene Edward’s was also very good but k Not only should Fender have kept Live going but you should have kept this guy.
I love fender but the play along’s are pretty much useless. I was super excited to learn to play this one song on guitar, but you already had to know the song to play it. Also the practice thing after you learn to play the song is really confusing. At first I thought it was a thing where you can play along to the song but it was just sheet music too difficult for me to understand (I’m a beginner) but other then that I absolutely love the app (though its a bit expensive).
Could use more solos
The app itself is fairly decent, though I cannot mark any lessons as complete. The button just doesn’t press. Also, there is no written notation for notes or chords. Only Tabs, but tabs are essentially useless. Adding notation is vital. I’ll be canceling my subscription after this month and moving to another form of instruction that teaches actual music.
I signed up for Fender Play over a year ago and didn’t use it enough to justify it on an ongoing basis. My advice to anyone considering this app: If you want to subscribe, DO IT THROUGH THE APP STORE. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE ON THE FENDER WEBSITE. I don’t know why I didn’t use the App Store this time but, to my great annoyance, I can’t cancel the subscription. Since I didn’t use the App Store I can’t unsubscribe through that. The instructions they give for cancellation on the mobile website are wrong. What their instruction say and what actually happens when you follow them doesn’t match up. I can’t unsubscribe on my Mac either because Sign in with Apple doesn’t work, the page just refreshes without actually logging me in. Worst of all, Fender has chosen not to offer telephone support for Fender Play. They’ll talk to you about everything they offer except that. For a company with this sort of legacy, this is simply unacceptable. Every time Fender bills me, Goldman Sachs thinks it’s fraud and they freeze my Apple Card. When I confirm that, no, I didn’t make this purchase, they change my card number. I have had five different card numbers issued in the last three weeks. I use my Apple Card for almost everything so you can imagine the ongoing chaos this is creating with my other financial obligations. This is shameful behavior for a brand as well known as Fender. The app is actually a pretty good app but, at this point, praising it feels a little like writing a stellar review of the bear trap I’m caught in.
