Can’t even connect to the inverter.
Why would you sell your product in Europe when you have not integrated your app to work with Google assistant in Europe. I wouldn’t have bought this air conditioning if I knew this. It’s 2022 fix this problem please
Saknar möjlighet att sätta funktioner i timern, skulle vilja kunna sätt tex ”quiet” vid ett visst klockslag, inte bara on/off Saknar oxå stöd för Google Home (fungerar endast i US & Camada)
This is a surprisingly meager offering from Fujitsu. The app needs to be updated. Having said that, it does work. I can turn on and off my unit remotely, though that is certainly a minimum requirement and level of confidence is low. It doesn’t interface at all with the physical remotes, so what you see one place may not be accurate. There haven’t been any upgrades in years and it shows.
Just installed this May 30 2023. The process for registering newly installed UTY-TFSXW1 Wi-Fi modules for newly installed ASYG12KMCC and ASYG09KMCC units is a nightmare due to a combination of errors in the documentation and bugs in the app. The documentation regarding the button presses on the remote control for initialization of the Wi-Fi module just seems wrong, pressing the indicated buttons never resulted in the display on the remote showing what the doc said it should. But I noticed that the orange Wi-Fi indicator on the module was blinking and the module was broadcasting the Wi-Fi network it was supposed to so I just skipped to the part about switching to that network in the iOS settings. Connecting to the module’s network causes an error pop up which prevents you from choosing your actual network from the list of available Wi-Fi networks. The doc says to just press ok but when you do so the app disappears and you can no longer choose your network. After a lot of very frustrating attempts to redo the registration steps I discovered that by switching to the iOS settings app, doing nothing and then switching back to the FGLair app seems to be a workaround to get the app to show the list of available Wi-Fi networks and this allowed me to choose the network and continue. When you finally get to the point where the app is initializing the AC unit it takes FOREVER and the whole time you are certain that it is hung but eventually it FINALLY completes. The good news is that once registered the app seems to control the AC unit very responsively. I had 4 of these to do, 2 down and 2 to go. Fantasizing about cruel and unusual punishment for whoever allowed this stuff to ship and whoever is responsible for not updating it to work better.
The app is incredibly not- dependable in terms of leaving me logged in when I close it out. It’s entirely unnecessary to have to log into the sage app - THIS.. same app… repeatedly every time I go to access it - when my phone hasn’t been restarted nor has it indicated it needs a reboot. The app loses my login and password completely unpredictably. I never know when it will happen. So if I’m laying in bed … middle of the night… say 2:30am and I’ve been woken up because I’m cold and I need to turn the heat on - what a wonderful little gift it ys they this app has logged me out if it and I need to hunt for the login/password so I can copy/paste it into the login/pass text boxes, OR… I need to find my glasses so i can stare at my (bright light) phone screen long enough to completely wake up … and so I wind up warm, because the heater is now in, but awake and unable to get back to sleep for a span of time because I had to completely wake up (ficus, get my glasses, read a brightly lit screen, etc..) to log back into the app. This app is the bane of my in-home tech. The remote control that comes with the heat pump unit doesn’t have a backlight so it’s either this sub par app, or I need to turn on a light to read the heat pump remote. I give it 2 stars because it functions. It works. But *only* 2 stars because this issue has been prevalent since I first started using it. It hasn’t ever been addressed in any meaningful way. It’s entirely frustrating and I’ve grown beyond weary of it. At this point when my friends ask about a decent heat pump with an app I actively tell them to look at reviews and to avoid this one if possible. I tell them it’s not the worst, probably… but just research to be comfortable knowing what they’re getting into before they commit. That way they aren’t taken off guard like I was.
My AC guy installed a Fujitsu unit in my newly constructed sunroom. After a week of using the app to control my new hvac, I’ve had absolutely no issues. It works as a thermostat should. That said, I do find the overall capability of this app to be extremely limited. Fujitsu should really consider adding features similar to Nest. I have Nest thermostats in other parts of my home and the accompanying Nest app is very functional and feature intensive. So does Fujitsu app function as a regular old thermostat? Yes. Is it all it could be? Absolutely not.
I am very frustrated that I can not set the minimum heat lower than 60. We spend many cold months away and would like to have our house set at 50. We are in New England so 60 is too high for no one being in the house. We would like to set it to 55 or 50 but 60 is the lowest it will go. Our NEST app works EXTREMELY well and allows for a minimum heat. The FGL External WIFI device is a big waste of money if app can’t have this lower temp feature. Also it would be great if we could see the actual temp of the room. There hasn’t been an update in a long time.
