They’re missed a few obvious bits, like letting Tifa stack her Limit breaks (like in FFVII) and a button for telling your team mates to burn all ATB immediately. But for a gatcha game it’s a damn good app.

Terrible game, FF fan fiction nonsense.
Gatcha trash that bastardising the masterpiece from 1997.
No Controller Support
Great story (obviously), great mechanics, great animation, and a not interfering gacha system. This would be my favourite iOS game if it weren’t for the lack of controller support. Please, please, Square Enix, add this option (and given that we’re talking about it, please add it to the FF Pixel Remaster collection as well!)

I find it difficult using on screen movement controls. I think this game would really benefit from controller support.
Great Addition to FFVII
First of all it has Aerith so that’s a huge win. 5 stars. Joking aside, I’ve been playing since launch. It’s gacha but you don’t need to pay if you just want to enjoy story, but I’d say you’d have to pay some to be competitive in the rankings and such. Also there are so many outfits, some of them are free but some you’d need to either collect the games currency to get or pay for the currency and roll for random. The equipping is pretty complex and setting up strategy is fun. Guilds are nice addition. Lots of gifts for anniversaries and event starts. I am enjoying the new story, the mini game aspect (chocobo and highwind). There is more info on the characters and I think this game hints at what’s to come in Part 3. Anyway, great and highly recommend!
It’s crashing
I can’t even enjoy the game anymore because all it do is crash on me every time I try to play it I can uninstall as much as I want and it still doesn’t fix it I have a iPad Air 3 and that should be enough to play this game with no problems
New update
The update messed up the game. My phone is small and this update forces you to do manual or occasional. You used to be able to hold on to your limit break in auto but not anymore. This ruined the game for me.

I want to love this game, but it crashes every battle….shame really, I’ve tried everything and I have nicknamed it, Final Fantasy Forever Crashes :(
very fun game but it keeps crashing after every battle
I’ve been playing this for months and I stopped early in the year because of personal stuff, when I downloaded the game again I noticed it has gotten way more laggy on my ipad and it keeps crashing, I was wondering if it was just the iPad but all of my other games seem fine. Other than that this is a very good game
Interesting
An interesting take on this game style and shockingly fun. And a great visual update to the original graphics while not losing the original experience of the animatics. I like it, and as a true long term fan since the release of FF7, this fired my passion for the series back up to go and replay the original as well as the remake.
