Financial Calculator

Since i have bought this software, i practice it in the basic of my financial management. Here's a terrible mistake. Whenever u compound the money more often such as semiannually, quarterly or monthly, the future value must be always larger. The reason is that money is earned on Interest more often. For instance, PV=(-100), n=3, i=10% What is the future value if i compounded annually and semiannually? The right answers are 133.10 for annually and 134.01 for semiannually. But in this software shows the wrong answer at 115.76 for semiannually meanwhile it shows the right answer at 133.31 for annually. I am certainly wondering how this could happen. Moreover, i have also checked with my FC-200V of CASIO, the answer for this calculator implies that there is a wrong thing at "COMPOUNDING" mode for sure. Please answer me if i got something wrong or misunderstood about the basic of my FM.

Had this for years. Works like a charm. Wondering when you plan an interface update? Does not handle the higher native screen resolution of new iPhones. GUI needs a facelift.

This is a wonderfully easy to use financial calculator. One of the best features is that it holds the values of the TMV calculations visible below the main display, above each function key, and so it’s easy to see your inputs at a glance. I’ve been using it for years.

Waste of money

Really like this calculator, however needs to have split screen functionality added for iPad pro. Need to be able to draw Ekg and use calculator on split screen...

This financial calculator is great! As long as you can follow the steps and translate the functions, this app will give you the answers in a user friendly manner. It's inexpensive and does what I need it to do by plug and play. Great job Devs!

...needs some bug fixes and compatibility with iOS 8. currently the npv function isn't working as there is no prompt for the discount rate (iphone 5, iOS 8). please fix this! thanks!

Yeah, there's an easy mode, but that doesn't help you learn. Tried putting in risk adjusted cost of capital to calculate npv and it won't accept a percentage. Keeps telling me to put in rate, and then it calculates it as it were zero. And yes I pressed every button just in case the calculator was set up different than every other calculator in the world. Btw, there is no FAQ in the help section. Just a link to a porn site. Huge waste of money. I should have just bit the bullet and bought one from an established brand.

This is a very useful financial calculator at a fantastic price. Easy mode takes a lot of hassle and guesswork out of common financial calculations, and the regular financial calculator is very good for my MBA finance course. Please update it so that when I change from begin mode to end mode, or vice versa, the change is reflected on the screen. That is, the current mode should always show in the window; currently, it will show BGN even when I've switched to END.
