This app is so delayed that if you were relying on it for an emergency notification you could be seriously mislead. I receive notifications that show that the incident concerned happened 10 to 12 hours before the notification. Not helpful at all.

This app is the worst state in Australia for keeping its info updated. For an app that people in rural Australia rely on for info, the updating is slow to the point of being days behind the actual fire. I use the Victorian one as I am close to the border. It even includes area affected by the fire. I thought the royal commission into the fires would have resolved this issue but I was disappointed. Shame on the government for not making this a federal app…. As it stands it is slow and unreliable. The radio for RFS is a much better source of information than this pile of garbage.

I have over 200 notifications and I can’t delete them very annoying

Agree with all the reviews re resolved etc, and when trying to set watch zone distance max is 50Km’s not matter what I set I’m getting notifications all over Australia? . And when looking at notifications that pop up not matter how many I open and look at ie,all over Australia,when I close the all it still has the notifications symbol ?

Alerts arrive saying “10 hours ago”, useless for any kind of warning, let alone emergency. Misleading and potentially dangerous.

Notifications are always delayed- typically says ‘10 hours ago’. Not sure if that’s true but it makes it incredibly difficult to know what’s accurate.

It got me in a lot of trouble with my Mrs thinking that I was looking for hot singles in the area!!!

Get notification of a fire in my selected area click to see the notification to be told it’s all ready resolved or that the fire was 10hrs ago. How does this keep people updated??? Definitely not worth downloading

This app works well but requires some regular updates and improve functionality for quickly displaying events nearest my live location.
