Flacbox: Hi-Res Music Player

Used to be a 5 star app. Unfortunately it is becoming more useless. Not working with CarPlay. Created multiple support requests but no progress. With every update they seem to have fixed it - but it does not get resolved. Feel ready sad for such a brilliant app which used to be splendid.

This is a gold. All these music subscriptions company’s scamming people with expensive low quality music and here Flacbox providing the best quality, features, flexibility, and Lossless Audio! Hatsoff! So many year of my life I spent on low quality music. Now Flacbox has given me what I needed. I had the best of speakers, headphones but audio was always limitation. Not anymore!

What’s the point of having this app if it does not support Apple Watch since we need to play music off-line on it so basically we can share off-line music from iPhone to watch

I have been using this app for sometime now and the premium version is totally worth it. Go for it.

This is THE BEST Offline Hi Res Player on iOS and mercifully it’s a one time purchase as compared to other players which are subscription based. I find it ridiculous to subscribe and pay forever for an offline audio files player. I am really grateful developers. Please keep this player alive by updating it and PLEASE retain the one time purchase model. Thanks a lot again!

It worsened the audio tag editor. The old feature to select the audio tags on our own was way more great than this new one.

I could observe that my files application is getting unresponsive when I have this application installed. Due to this, I was facing issues with Photos, Safari even Settings becoming unresponsive. When I offload this application, all is normal. That is strange. I was just trying to figure out why my entire device is slow because of this app, but couldn’t find anything. I’m not sure if there was similar issue reported before. May be because I have more songs offline. I have songs of 20GB offline and it counts 4000+ in number. But, apart from this, I just love this app. The quality of music I hear on my downloaded songs is just incredible. I have been searching for an app like this for so many months. But, unfortunately it didn’t suit my device and I can no longer even keep it in my device.

Cant see my tracks after update. Though i can clearly see files taken space in storage but can’t find songs in the app.

After recent update music playback is breaking in Apple CarPlay

Instead of offering so many options like play from various clouds, if the developer can optimise the space utility i.e like iPhones, keeping everything simple and easily reachable by clearing out genius options. The Amp & pre-amp settings need to be intuitive to understand the + & - for average users like myself cos I had to google which I personally find no issues with but critical nonetheless! Since a DAC (Digital audio codec)is always needed to experience the absolute awesomeness of the FLAC sound, it serves all the reason to clear the clutter and simplify!
