Flic App

The app crashes from time to time when trying to add actions, especially on flic twist. Furthermore response time is quite slow.

Connected a flic to my phone, but it turns out that the flic app needs to be open before the action is performed, otherwise it will just send a notification. I don’t need a notification, I need a physical button that will run certain things on my phone.

Vi har en Long Range hub placeret centralt i vores 150 kvm hus og bruger knapperne til alt styre alt fra Hue og Sonos til dørklokke. Rækkevidden er imponerende ift. den gamle hub og knapperne holder batteri og forbindelse uden problemer. Mine eneste minusser er at man kun kan have én Philips Hue hub, alt Sonos-styringen er begrænset af at bruge det gamle API og at vores udendørs knapper er blevet lidt gullige i løbet af det år de har siddet ude.

Der er fortsat plads til forbedringer. Brugergrænsefladen er ikke helt optimal, føles en smule klodset. Fungerer fint med Hue

Not working with Philips Hue

The idea is great, and I used to have a Flic button specifically for lights that worked well. Now I have a general one, and after about 6 months, it has become very unreliable, which isn’t great because I use it to log important medicine. It loses its connection almost every day, and just lights up in red. If I open the app, it says the button is out of range, but If I wait a little while, it connects again. I have changed the battery, but it’s still the same. I won’t be buying any more of these.

I have the buttons, twists and hub. Trash. Always disconnect. Very limited functionality. CLOSED to any possibilities such as hubitat or home assistant. When this company and app does so will the product (YOUR) product. Also, Matter is support is nowhere even though they advertise it in one of their App Store screens.

Unsure if the last update introduced this bug, but as of the latest version, attempting to set an Advanced push and twist action for a Flic Twist immediately crashes the app.
