This was my favourite editing app, very intuitive and clear. I really liked this app, but it’s completely abandoned. It’s sad, but it’s crashing and no updates since 11 months ago. They did “Splice” and they are now “focused” on this new app.

The app in itself is easy to use and has a good amount of options BUT there are a LOT of small things that should have been sorted by now! 1) STILL No ability to overlay a colour grade or other edits to the entire timeline as the adjustment layer will NOT drag further then the clip it is above meaning you have to edit each clip individually with each adjustment you’ve made! The layer options already exist for each individual clip just make it extend!! Easy fix! 2) Constant crashing still! The app will Consistently hang or freeze without warning at least once or twice EVERY time you use it. 3) AUTOSAVE! If the app crashes or freezes you can almost guarantee you’ve lost all the work you’ve been doing unless you remember to manually save after every edit made because the app Does NOT! These are Really basic things that NEED to be patched and resolved because they are getting close to making the App pointless due to the extra time all these issues create when making edits. Fix these and this App would be a Top Runner *UPDATE* Add now so buggy it crashes EVERY Edit!!! After which any Focus points you’ve key framed etc will be ALL completely out of focus making the only thing this app was good for now Useless. All because DEVs can’t be bothered to do simple patches. I’m out.

Really liked this app but it freezes everytime I try to edit which has made editing time consuming and annoying. This is a bug that needs to be fixed

Used to use this daily, it’s useless now. Can I have a refund?

I record voiceover videos and it never works even though my iPhone microphone is allowed for the app and I have contacted support which is non existent

I’ve been using this video editing app for a while, and it has its ups and downs. Recently, I’ve faced frequent freezing issues that disrupt my editing process. Customer support is another drawback. After reaching out for help, I received no response—just a generic refund request, leaving me frustrated. It’s been four days with no assistance. When it works, the app offers good editing features, but it really needs improved stability and better support. Overall, I can’t fully recommend it at this time.

Reason for the rating of stars given. It doesn’t work anymore no matter what I do or how I’ve filmed the videos I’m trying to export my sole purpose was to use this for the aperture feature nothing else. Now that doesn’t even work either!

Tried using the tilt focus effect but each time I played it back the app would freeze and I can’t modify anything so restart the app and it looses the progress I made

I have been using focus for almost two years, since the latest update even thought I pay for the app I can not edit any footage as the app freeze and crashes on iPad and iPhone. I have emailed twice and no reply so sadly I have no choice but to find an alternative app to edit my content (which I make a living from) so very disappointed I have not deleted and down loaded the app again, on attempting to get the free trial to test to see if it’s working correctly I have now been charged 69.99 and that app STILL crashes, and NO ONE has responded to any of my emails! There is no other contact point and from being disappointed I am now feeling scammed!!!

Rubbish
