Focus for Reddit

Great potential, but has some simple flaws that cause great inconvenience It causes problems because I have all my bookmarks and tabs on a different mobile browser. Also, I have this app installed on Mac, and it used to work great, but now it is always stuck in offline mode as of a couple weeks ago or so. Not sure how to fix. I really, really liked having this app on Mac because I could have widget for subreddits on my computer’s background. (Mac/iOS apps have cross compatibility, especially on iPad) I will update this review if some of these issues are fixed. Thanks.

bug got fixed where i couldn’t log into my reddit account, so this went back to being usable. i’m happy with it, but there’s a feature keeping it from being a 5 star app: the reddit gifs don’t play within the app. i don’t know why but in some of the subs i follow, none of the gifs work within the app. i tested this with other 3rd party reddit apps and they don’t have the issue, only this one does. overall though other than this, it’s a pretty solid app

I’m not claiming this is a perfect app, there’s much to do, but when it comes to iPad reddit clients, the pickings are thin and this is one of the most modern and smooth experience you can have on iPad. Please continue your work!

I could not log in to Reddit, which makes the app useless. Every time that I tried, I got a message saying “Something went wrong, try again later.” I corresponded with the developer, but he was no help before finally ghosting me.

Could be the best Reddit app on iOS except for the LONG UNSKIPPABLE ADS

Login window opens, but after logging in, you stay in internal browser pop up. It does not connect your login to the app

Crashes repeatedly, cannot turn off multi column, can’t downvote from thumbnail, hiding comments is a joke! Cannot automatically go to reader mode. The browser icon and reader icon are on top of each other. Latest update broke comment collapse. No single column display making the content difficult to scroll through at a glance and content is crammed into a too small thumbnail to be useful. This along with the crashes are what makes me hate this app the most, the only saving grace is that is it isn’t the reddit app.

It’s fixable. Don’t know why he refuses to fix this.

This app is a revamp using the now open source code from Slide, however the dev got overly greedy where the app is loaded with overly intrusive popups. App switch? Popup ad. Open five links? Popup ad. I wouldn’t mind paying once for supporting the work but the guy also wants a subscription model to remove ads… Come on man, have some sense.
