I don’t normally leave reviews, but I felt the need to make an exception. Myself, like many others, have had a very hard time finding a good font keyboard that doesn’t lock content behind a paywall. Well, as of right now this one is completely free. So, if that’s what you’re looking for, look no further!

This is a great app with so many fonts to choose from and tons of cool keyboard background options! However, I noticed an issue with the “Make Your Own Theme” feature. While I can upload photos to customize the keyboard background, the color-changing option doesn’t seem to work correctly. It only offers three colors—red, blue, and occasionally green—but I can’t actually select or apply them. The capacity/opacity adjustment works fine, allowing me to make the keyboard see-through, but when I hold down the keys, they still remain gray, and I can’t change or customize that at all. I thought this might be a PC-only feature, but since this app is for iPad, I’d love to know if I’m missing something or if this is a bug that could be fixed in a future update. Despite these small issues, I still recommend downloading the app because it’s very fun and has great options for fonts and themes overall! If the bugs get fixed, this would easily be a 5-star app.

So I wanted to try some new fonts. And as it turns out a lot of the apps that did that went pay to play a long time ago, with most of them only letting you copy paste without a subscription. AND most of them do require full keyboard control to do anything, which leads to that very uncomfortable nagging feeling that your data is being read and used elsewhere. Cuz who hasn’t typed their credit card at some point. But this app. Is interesting. I can’t seem to access a privacy policy document. And I can’t navigate Facebook to ask them. Apparently it’s hard to message an “interest” page as apposed to a user page. I did want to give full keyboard access just to see what’d happen. But the option never came up in app settings. So if I wanted to I can’t. BUT. This is something of a blessing, as all the themes already existing on the app can be used without issue, with all the free fonts available. Which really, the font library isn’t that big. But if I can use it for free and without privacy worries, that’s kinda good all things considered? At the moment the only thing I cannot do without enabling full control, which the app will ask you to do if you attempt to do something that needs it (Which again, for me when it asks it takes me to the settings page where the option isn’t there). Is create a keyboard theme. Without control that is the one thing I cannot do. The rest of the things? The font text copy paste function and the pre installed themes, all work great without issue. I will also say. The “pro” features are unlocked with a single dollar payment. Not a subscription. Which is wildly merciful and the kind of business plan I like to see. I love this app! It’s free, you can do all things on this app, if you want pro, it’s $1 and never again, and so much more!

I just got this app and already love it so much. The reason is that all other font apps make you pay for the actual fonts and this app doesn't! So far I see no glitches so far and the fact that you can create your own keyboard with a pic of your choice is amazing!!!!
