You like food? So do we, and we don’t want to see food go to waste anymore.
Now you have three ways of helping save the planet and avoid food waste.
1. You can buy food for a third of its regular price from food retailers in the form of a Foody Bag.
2. You can use our free Blezz feature to pick-up food for free from people in your neighbourhood who no longer need it.
3. Our Blezz feature also allows you to donate good-to-eat food in your community that you may no longer need.
WHAT IS A FOODY BAG?
We all wonder what happens to all the tasty and fresh food towards the end of the day in bakeries, cafes and restaurants.
A Foody Bag is a bag of random and yummy food products that you can buy for a third of its retail price.
Filter by budget, store types, price range, dietary requirements and star rating!
Create a personalised profile, add and organise your favourites, and leave reviews. If you favourite a food retailer then we'll notify you as soon as there's new Foody Bags so that you can be the first to buy before they are all gone.
Pay through the app and be alerted when it's time for pick-up. This is not a food delivery service though, you will need to go pick it up - but you will make a hefty saving and get some exercise along the way.

WHY FOODY BAG?
One third of all food produced goes to waste. In terms of numbers, this adds up to $20 billion wasted on agriculture, 5% of our national greenhouse gas emissions, and 1,046 billion litres of previous water wasted – all on food that never gets eaten.
We are on a mission to help prevent some of this food waste and therefore save the planet by providing a platform for food retailers to sell their surplus stock at the end of each day, instead of throwing it away.
Not only are you helping the environment, you’ll also be saving yourself money and supporting local businesses in the process!

Blezz allows you to pick-up free food donated by others in your community.

1. A person buys food and it almost reaches its expiry date.
2. Sometimes we buy things we open and decide we don’t like.
