Short & sweet, so……

Not sure it’s worthy of the $3.99 to remove ads that were mostly 5 secs long that happened only a few times that it took to finished it. But it was worthy of 4 stars for a free, short enjoyable game.👍

I beat the game and now I’m going to beat the next chapter in forgotten hill! BYE

Good but short

Also my game didn’t match the walk through. The puzzle at the end has Roman numerals and mine had two sets of numerals while the walk through just had one. It made no sense. I solved it but it was random. I have no idea what the creator actually meant for you to do. And since it didn’t match the walkthrough…? Idk. Anyway, nbd. it’s really cute-spooky. I love how it’s drawn. it’s really short for the price though. I’d say play this with ads then spend money on a longer forgotten hills game.

Do not spend money removing ads!!

This game was way too short for anyone to spend $5.99 removing ads. I expected it to be much longer, like Disillusions, but I finished it in about 30 minutes. It should only cost about $2, at most, to remove ads.

Exorbitant Unlock Price for Short, Short Game

I don’t mind paying for games. In fact, I prefer it since I hate ads, and think it’s only right to pay for people’s work. These games are no snap to make. I had just played Forgotten Hill Disillusion, paying $4.99 to remove ads, and was very impressed by the length and difficulty of that game. So when I downloaded FH Fall, I didn’t hesitate to click that dollar sign to unlock. I didn’t think anything of the fact it was only $1.99, since it’s an older game. However, I was still getting ads randomly. Going back and clicking on the dollar sign again a couple times, I was assured by popups that my payment was activated and ads were removed. Well, sort of. It was all good until I accessed a hint. Long full screen ad followed. Another trip back to the main page. I finally noticed and clicked on the light bulb icon. So NOW they offering me the princely deal to “unlock all hints and remove ads” for a cost of $5.99! I might have taken this deal in the first place had I known it existed, but not in addition to the previous $1.99. But it was all good. Again, sort of. Because I continued on, didn’t really need more hints and discovered that this game is unbelievingly short for the unlock price. Shamefully short. Disgracefully short. The $1.99 price was even too much, let alone another $5.99! I would have been livid if I had paid that much. So here we are. FH games are very good. Disillusion was great, even, and worth the money. But I’m very doubtful about paying unlock prices for the other games. And kind of not liking Forgotten Hill very much.

Glitches

This would have been an excellent game had it not been for multiple glitches not allowing me to interact, pick up clues, or use items until leaving and reentering the game or restarting phone. I finished the game to see if it continued, which unfortunately it did. I will try another from Forgotten Hill game because the concept was great, and see if it’s just this game.

Rip-off

After I payed to remove ads, the ads continued. What a ripoff.

Great Game, Puzzle Wouldn’t Work

This is a great game overall, but the tombstone picture puzzle wouldn’t make the hand appear to continue the game. I had to look up a walk-through to realize what was supposed to happen and nothing I would do could make the hand pop up out of the ground.

Frustrating, to say the least

This game is definitely not my favorite. Mostly because it’s incredibly glitchy. It randomly won’t let you interact with things, unless you leave the room and return, which then leads to an excess of ad pop ups. It’s free, so I can’t complain too much but there’s no real story (in this one), it’s very short, and a lot of the clues are a bit reaching. -Avid escape room player

Update to earlier review - still not worth $6

Thank you for replying to my review and updating the app to remove the intrusive banner ad covering the bottom third of the iPad screen. I applied the update and started the game. Had 30-second ads right away, so I paid $5.99 to remove the ads (something I routinely do). Imagine my surprise when the game ended in about 12 minutes. Your other games are challenging and fun, and a good pastime for a few hours. This one was a ripoff.
