Every effort has been made to create a beautiful, sumptuous theme and a perfect user experience, complete with delightful sound effects. Forty Thieves Solitaire is a unique and rare game with similarities to the popular Freecell. Your goal is to move all the cards to the 8 foundation piles from Ace to King. It uses 2 decks so that the rules state that only one card may be moved at a time. In the play area cards can only be moved to empty columns or in descending order by suit. Naturally, the game has a well-made tutorial to teach you anything you might need to know.

Fascinating game
I've enjoyed this game for years and particularly liked the old design with the gold shown in the grotto, and then closing before you tried to get the grotto opened again. The 2017 graphics are not nearly as nice and unfortunately the new version has erased the old one. The old adage is just as true as ever....... newer is not necessarily better.

Good game for keeping your mind active.
Game after winner
Need to have a choice after the first win. The mandatory games are 90%, or more, unwinnable because of card placement in the front row. Plus, I hope you know the game is heavily biased against spades.

There is now an add that pops up along the whole top banner of screen and now I can only see 3/4 of the cards. Can’t even play now without being annoyed.
Glitch since newest update
Hi my game has a white banner Ad that’s at the top of the screen. It’s fine for the first game but after winning and advancing to the next round, the banner ad is right in front of the top (of screen) card piles and the draw pile so I can barely see which card is behind it. I have to completely close down the app and restart it. It’s almost like the game zooms in

Have played game for years and like it very much!
It’s ok
Sure, I mean the house always wins in Las Vegas but this is insane. Every game I have ever played has a reasonable chance to win but this is ridiculous. I don’t believe there is a level above three cause I can’t get past that level at all. I’ve been playing this game for over a year off and on and I thought it was a fluke but I did get above level three ONCE, after that nothing
