Fountain Hiring

While the app looks good and very closely resembles the web version, the inability to side scroll in the review applicants screen makes this pretty much useless when trying to sort and compare applicant data to another. Furthermore I am unable to sort the applicants using any of the sortable columns like “date applied” or “idle”. The only thing this app is good for is moving familiar applicants through the process.

I don’t know why it’s impossible to “go back” once you get into job postings and applicant data, but it’s frustrating to have to close and reopen the app after downloading and reading a résumé. I opened a résumé file and it wasn’t supported (fine, no big deal, I’ll look later..) but then I had to force close the app and go back in, filter everything just to get back to where I was. Then, there’s too much junk in the user interface and it takes forever to click certain things if you have multiple active job postings. I currently have 15, and cannot click the bottom posting on my phone so working on-the-go is not feasible.

I never had issues logging on my IPhone but my work phone that is an android logs in just find…. FIX THIS NOW!!!!

Fountain needs to either invest in a better app or a mobile website. There are many features that are not available that would make sense in a mobile/app like reading sms sent, sessions, directly schedule and more. The app frequently doesn’t load and have blank screen. Using the platform on a mobile browser is lacking in the features on a desktop or iPad browser. It is a great tool that is missing the ability to be mobile.

I run a few franchise businesses and my boss asked me to set up fountain. Love it and way better than what we were using before.

I needed to backfill for my team members across my South Bay Taco Bell and KFC locations, and I was able to find candidates super quickly through Fountain. I particularly like that my general managers gets mobile notifications when candidates apply so they can communicate with them through sms texts instantly, and also like how their scheduling tool automatically finds time for candidates to come in for interviews + takes care of sending reminders to my gms and candidates. Cool app for anyone that runs any qsr/franchise locations.

I had a new location opening in three days and we still needed 5 employees. The boost feature in this app got me 14 applicants in a few hours. Saved the day.

Finally, everything on my iPhone!

Seamless transition between the desktop and the app version. Very user-friendly for creating/posting jobs, and in hiring talent. Definitely recommend for anyone in need of an app to help with finding/hiring employees!
