FreakyAlarm — Games & Barcodes

Even though meds help with the symptoms of my ADHD, they do not unfortunately help with remembering to take them. Regular alarms do not work for me, as I just notice them and say to myself that now I will remember, I will just go into the bathroom now to take them, but then something happens or I think of something and several hours later I remember that I forgot to take my meds. With FreakyAlarm I can prescan the barcode of the packaging of meds and the ridiculously annoying alarm will not stop until I have scanned the package again, and once I stand there in front of my meds I might as well take them. Literally a life changer! The only negative would be that it is a bit too easy to cheat by silencing the phone. The alarm will vibrate, but I am able to go on for hours with a vibrating phone. Having an option for overriding the silence button would have be nice, but I assume the current functionality is due to iOS restrictions. On the other hand, FreakyAlarm will restart if you try to quit the app, so that escape route is covered. Great little app. Highly recommended for people with ADHD!

Sett opp mattestykker som må løses, en strekkode på badetromsspeilet som må scannes så har du en solid alarm. Denne gir seg ikke uansett og er perfekt for trøttinger om morgenen ..!

Denne appen er helt genial. Har gått gjennom alle alternativer og denne er den desidert beste. Dette er den eneste appen som er helt umulig å slå av eller stoppe. Absolutt verdt prisen!

This app has helped me a lot! I'm one of those who have a hard time to get up in the morning, and I can't really count how many times I've slept while the alarm is torturing everyone but me. After I started to use this, I've actually been able to get up! It's unreal. The app needs an upgrade though: There's some functions that have stopped working after the newest iOS update.

Great concept but I didn’t realize until after I purchased that you have to leave your phone open or the app open which is terrible for so many reasons. I reallllllllly wanted to write a happy review! Ugh!

I was so excited for this app and it even worked initially. But i have to keep my phone password locked for work and privacy regulations, and i quickly became clear i could not be trusted to remember to change my settings every-night and every morning. So i had to stop using. Please find a way around this.

The alarm is great when it wants to work, I have to uninstall the app every so many weeks when it stops working to get it to work again

This never fails to wake me ip however you can easily delete the app or cheat the volume down

What kind of alarm clock doesn’t start to sound until it’s been going off for 20 minutes? If it’s set for 6:45, sound won’t start til after 7. It shouldn’t matter what the priority score it, the sound should go off when it’s supposed to.
