Maybe it’s a limitation that developer have to deal with so it’s not a true blocker app for iOS. We need cold turkey for ios. Otherwise subscription not worth it.
The domain blocklists aren’t working at all and I can still access them from the browser as normal. I’d have to block the browser entirely which doesn’t help me
This app is really great! It’s the only thing that’s been able to help me push back against my internet addiction. I love the new(ish) features of letting you block an app all day, 24/7 without having to renew the 24 hour block, and have recurring time blocks during the workday/at night and stuff. Worth paying the price! Works so much better than Apples time limits which you can just override. Love the flexibility of what apps you can block, for how long, how often, etc.
Works on my computer and phone but despite going through the entire installation procedure multiple times, restarting, and going through all the troubleshooting information I can find online, it continues to allow the very social media apps I’m trying to block to open on my iPad. The best I have to go off now to solve the issue is “another app might be interfering.” If it’s so easy for another app to interfere, it seems to defeat the purpose. I expected better for the cost.
I hate this app with a passion. It never works. There’s always an issue. It’s always locking you out of the things you don’t wanna be locked out of no matter how many times you reconfigure and reset it and delete your block list over and over and over again it’s always a problem. I’m constantly messaging Support all the time. I bought a lifetime membership, but it’s a lifetime of headaches. I would just leave them, but they won’t give me my money back. Scammers. I would choose another app if I could.
its ridiculous trying to use unless you want to shell out an absurd amount of money.
I use this pretty much every day to encourage myself to go to sleep at a reasonable hour and to remove distractions during work. It’s definitely worth the money. The only suggestion I would have is allow us to set up a break we can take. For example: during my 9-5 I block off any access to games or other entertainment. It’d be nice to be able to start one 30 minute window for lunch where I can have access to that.
Fixed my relationship with my phone.
I think this app is an amazing idea but why can’t at least some features be free? Technology addiction is so damaging and it’s so selfish of ever person who’s worked on and supported this app to monetize that addiction. It’s a good idea, and I understand production costs completely, but why can’t the basic features be free? All I want is to block a website permanently.
