Not at all customer oriented company
I have been ordering from this company for almost 7-8 years. My primary reason for ordering is ease as it is hard for me to find time to go to a market and get the product. The product quality is decent, not the best. However, after a number of issues I have faced with this company, I am only reviewing it now because I see no improvements in the way they handle their operational mistakes. And that is very disappointing. Multiple instances where they will deliver wrong product and then will not refund the amount of you are unable to return the product. Once instead of a pack for chicken leg pieces, they sent a regular pack. And given there were many similar looking packets, I marinated all the chicken only to realise at last that they have not sent the correct products. Now in this scenario, what’s irritating is that they will casually refund the difference in price of the product you ordered and the one they sent. It’s very evident that they basically take no accountability for their mistake and simply charge you for what they shared. This was nearly 3-4 years ago and the same thing happened yesterday. In both customer care conversation what you hear is we will take this as a feedback and it will not happen again. But clearly they don’t care. Another very common issue, deliver the product super late, once in fact after my guests left ( and I had to make alternate purchase from the market) and then they were not ready to refund me as I did not return the product immediately. I wasn’t even aware when the product got delivered as I was busy tending to my 20 guests that day and amidst all chaos certainly did not prioritise tackling this return. But had to pay and keep 4kg plus of products because they wouldn’t refund Many other issues where they have delayed with zero accountability. In my opinion, for a time based delivery app, if you don’t meet the time criteria, you cannot charge the customers. How long it will take to deliver is a criteria for decision, like if I have 30 mins delivery option and I chose because I have urgent guests, and they deliver in two hours ( which was an option on other website too with better product quality), I would make a different choice. But they will not issue a refund because they just ‘delivered’ it. So overall, very disappointed with how non customer centric they are. In so many years, I am now almost convinced that this is not a platform I want to continue. Open to recommendation for other platform with better customer ce
