I’ve been practising low carb/keto for over 5 years. But lots of people I know just can’t get their mindsets past the low fat way of life they’ve been advised to follow for the last 40 years. Everybody should download this app and digest the contents. This app is informative and interesting and although I have studied numerous websites regarding low carb, due to being pre diabetic twice, this has been the most down to earth and practical advice given so far. I now understand where I have been going wrong in life and hope to rectify it by not eating 5 tangerines per day + other fruits, porridge oats for breakfast and jacket potatoes for lunch! This is free advice and well thought out. Try is you won’t be disappointed. Sincere thanks to the Dr’s at Freshwell.

The doctors at the Freshwell Health Centre (a NHS practice) have provided a first class resource here to help people reduce their carb intake and improve their health. There’s a wealth of information which is presented in a easy to navigate format. And it’s completely free. An absolute must.

This app was suggested to me by my diabetes nurse after I was diagnosed earlier this year. I have been following a moderate low carb diet ever since and I am staggered at the results. I have lost 10kg without feeling deprived of anything and my blood sugar has improved radically. I can't recommend this enough - it contradicts everything I've believed about food and diet but makes perfect sense.
This is not a diet, it is a change in diet. It is fascinating to see how much of what you thought about food was wrong. The information supplied by the authors is sensible and realistic. Other than coming off the sugar and carbohydrates roundabout, I have not suffered in any way at all. You don’t feel hungry. One month in, I am one stone lighter and I am looking forward to a future not blighted by obesity. Here’s to the next 2 stones and more importantly, keeping the weight off effortlessly. I have downloaded this app after reading an article in the daily paper. My first thoughts were it would be full of adverts, hidden costs and not worth it. How wrong I was! This is a great app for a better understanding of what carbs do to your body and how you can help yourself to control/avoid/swap your foods and become healthier. I’m only on day one but I’ve so much more information to help me succeed on my diabetes journey. All this for free! Can’t afford not to download it!
