Frigidaire 2.0 and this one- which one is it? Updated 3 weeks ago and 2 weeks ago. WHICH IS IT? Suddenly my ac won’t connect to the app today. I removed the ac as the wifi light was off and set it back up. Still no connection. The “learn more” button does NOTHING . Doesn't open a page and give me insight to a possible cause.

Doesn’t work anymore. Still signed in to my account but won’t connect with the window AC. Deleted the app and downloaded again but still doesn’t work. ???

I’m so happy with this Frigidaire AC and its accompanying WiFi app. So convenient, efficient and user friendly. Highly recommended.

The App is pretty good. Before I bought my AC unit I wanted to make sure it could do everything from my phone. Coming home from a long day at work to a nice and cold house is fantastic. Especially on a HOT day. Both the AC and the App works very nicely together. Being able to turn off the unit and back on, setting the temperature and also getting notifications when to clean the air filter is awesome. Only thing I wish the app could do is have a Schedule Manager, so I could have the unit turn on same time everyday. I know GE units have that feature within the App I hope we can get an update with some new extra features.

I had the previous version of this app and it worked flawlessly with my Frigidaire air conditioner. Since the upgrade, I cannot get it to work. I go through all the steps over and over and over again and it tells me that I’m connected and then tries to register my appliance ,which by the way is already registered, and says that I can’t do it and it kicks me out and makes me do it all over again. The whole idea of this app, for me, was that when I was coming home from work I could turn on my air conditioner before I arrive so that my apartment in New York City wasn’t sweltering. Well, those days of being able to do that seem to be long gone. At this point, I’m just resolved to the fact that this app isn’t going to work for me any longer. The reason why I bought this particular air conditioning unit was because it was Wi-Fi enabled, so much for that functionality.

I was frustrated the first time we were forced to switch apps to control AC units because it went from a working app that could control my AC as advertised to one that barely functioned and got worse with time. When I saw that the old app was replacing the 2.0 app, I hoped this would fix the issues. But it seems like that’s not the case, my AC unit is no longer supported on the app. The WiFi functionality was a huge selling point and the unit is only a few years old. Incredibly disappointed with how poor the app experience has been.

This app is again broken after these new updates. “Can’t register appliance” errors constantly despite the device being connected to my wifi successfully. So frustrating. Years of nonstop app errors. If you are on the fence, avoid buying any and all Frigidaire devices since any update can (and will!) render your smart device useless. Update: wrote to developer and they said this model is no longer supported by the app. Keep in mind this was a forced app update and was working perfectly before the update. Learn from my mistakes and never buy a device from Frigidaire ever again! They can and will break a fully functional device without warning.

This app is about as terrible as the fridge I have from them. I can’t even add an appliance because it freezes when you have to allow it access to location, Bluetooth, & WiFi. If you don’t allow it access to any of those things, it freezes and doesn’t allow you to go back to correct the mistake. You have to uninstall the app, then re-install, and then it freezes at the same point again. It makes the app completely useless. I shouldn’t be surprised though. Every experience I have had with this refrigerator has been absolutely terrible. Why wouldn’t this app be as well. Do NOT get this app.
