FRITZ!App Fon

Hey team, there’s an issue with app constantly draining the battery with background activity. I removed it from my phone completely and reinstalled but it did not fix it. I wish I could attach the screenshot - it’s 5-8 minutes per hour during night hours, and up to 55 minutes per hour during heavy phone use for me, according to the built in battery monitor in settings

Unfortunately the modem refuses to update the firmware which renders this app unworkable.

Still no update so app completely defunked!!! Come on sort it out!!!!!! this app desperately needs an update, calls will not connect, just keeps flicking back to the keypad all the time! Help

Can’t make calls with it, it dumps back out every time. App sorely needs an update. Looks like the Fritz Box makers don’t care about after sales support. If you were hoping to use VoIP without having to buy more hardware, sorry, you’re out of luck.

Good app used it for a while. Still needs some work hopefully a new version is on the way.

Manchmal ist es notwendig ein einzelnes Gerät temporär abzuschalten. Das könnte einfacher möglich sein.

Eigentlich ist das Fon eine recht angenehme Lösung, wenn man neben dem Handy noch eine Festnetz Flat aufweisen kann. Negativ: leider ist die Qualität der Verbindung akustisch häufig nicht so toll, insbesondere beim freisprechen. Das tritt bei einer Mobilfunkverbindung nicht auf. Ich verwende ein iPhone XR.

Lösung erfolgte am 24.07.24 Der Lösungsvorschlag wurde von Herrn Patrick Nadol (AVM-Support) umfassend beschrieben und konnte erfolgreich umgesetzt werden. Super !!! Nochmals danke. Anfrage vom 18.07.24 Kann mit dem iPhone 15, iOS-Version 17.5.1, 256 GB, nicht mehr unter VPN (Wireguard) sowohl von extern mit Mobildaten als auch intern via WLAN (mit oder ohne VPN) den Gesprächspartner erreichen. Es kommt jeweils die Info „Gegenstelle besetzt“ obwohl dies defenitiv nicht der Fall ist. Ich nutze die Fritz!Box 7590AX mit der aktuellen Version 7.81. Die Fritz!Fon App besitzt die aktuelle Verson 5.4.1. Alle Lösungsvorschläge (Deinstallationen, Installationen, Neustarts, etc.) führten zu keinem positiven Ergenis. Bitte um Klärung und eine Lösung. Danke schon jetzt.
