I’ve played since the kingdom began which was around 8/9 years ago, it was great and fun and yes you could spend back then which I did but not a lot. Now, well that’s all the devs are interested in, every update is just new stuff to purchase which the big spenders do, no actual game development and there is tons of stuff that need developing but they are simply not interested. They have even priced out the non spenders in events like fae and it’s so horrible for people who don’t spend. No interaction with the devs like most games do but they do hold a weekly question and answer post on instagram but they even avoid questions regarding game development. It’s a shame as it’s a cracking game and you meet nice people but the devs are too greedy, $260m they made last year but still isn’t enough. Don’t download it and avoid spending if you do, which is exactly what everyone should do until they actually develop the game and bring fairness back. Oh and customer support is by far the worst you will ever experience, even trying to contact them via the system in the first place is horrendous and I mean horrendous. Maybe if they started to develop the game itself it might be better but I doubt it and they won’t anyway as developing things like portal, barbs, FK (to name a few) doesn’t make them money and they won’t spend the time doing it. Advice: Avoid like an std
It’s fun but it’s pay to win
The game is very dynamic, there are still quite a few active players and you genuinely become friends with members of your alliance. Having said that, the game is very coercive in making you pay money. It feels predatory, especially if the vulnerable play. I’m being so serious, if you have a spare 1-2k then get this game, if not… probably best to leave it
