It’s a shame that excellent cameras like the Fujifilms have a companion software that is so poorly written and maintained. After iOS 18 update, the app freezes the camera if you try to connect and must remove the camera battery to get it working again. It’s been now months and no app update or news on a fix. Embarrassing.
App asks for FULL access to ALL of my photos (and their locations and metadata) in order to do a simple transfer from camera to phone. No way I’m giving some faceless company that data.
Newest update made the app unusable. Whenever I connect to my xh1 the app crashes and shuts down :(
Was sold the camera with persuasive arguments about that you could transfer the pictures directly from the camera to my phone. Sadly no one told me that I had to use the worst possible app ever.

Ich möchte eigentlich das neue X App benutzen für eine Gfx 50 ii. Das pairing funktioniert nicht, weil ich offenbar eine neue Firmware benötige, ich möchte doch das alte App laden und durch dieses die Firmware aktualisieren. Gesagt getan. Das App zeigt aber an, dass meine Kamera auf dem aktuellen Stand sei und lässt kein Update zu. Ich muss leider sagen, das dies typisch Fujifilm Software ist. Vollkommen unbrauchbar und unzuverlässig. So gerne ich mit den Kameras auch fotografiere. Die Menüführung und die Apps sind so unterirdisch, dass ich mich wohl in Zukunft umorientieren werde.

How am I suppose to be able to use my X100V if I can’t transfer my photos to my phone. It only works 1/20 times after resetting wireless settings and uninstalling the app constantly. It is extremely frustrating that you are not working to fix these bugs. It always gets stuck when connecting to the camera wifi. Features are worth nothing if basic functionality isn’t working
The the app’s layout is good, but the app can’t connect to the camera via wifi. This makes the app pointless, as you can’t really use it☹️
