Galaxy Defense: Fortress TD

“Failed to get update url”. That’s all I’ve seen, even after reinstalling.

Probably the greediest game I have ever played. Simple game. Expects you to spend big money every step of the way.

I spent $9.99 on the abyss pack to get two skill choices and I have yet to receive a single double choice. It’s really screwing me on the rounds.

The best comment I can give, is that the ads are there, but you don’t need to watch them. At no point am I forced to watch an ad. I can watch them for a bonus, totally fine, I’ve done it a couple times, but if I don’t want to, it’s 100% not necessary. Brilliant. The gameplay is actually very fun and addictive.

Game is pretty good. Want to remove ads forever that’s $50 and that’s offensive enough to me to come leave a 3 star review.

Completely hit a wall and it’s just gonna take too much grinding for my taste to move on. ALSO, I really dislike where the disruptor drones randomly decide to spawn the wall - why wouldn’t they just target the closest enemy? Also the beam focuses on the boss at some point instead of the closest enemy? Perhaps add a way to customize how the weapons target? Idk

While this is a super fun game it becomes super obvious they are milking you for ad watching so they can make some money. Trying for a weapon combo? Good luck. You will likely not get what you want on your upgrades. Not all weapons are equal in power. I really wanted to be able to use electric weapons and the game likes to feel them to me. However they are the weakest weapons. One game I went 4 rounds up level ups getting two little guy upgrade and one shotgun options. Say it’s ran some all you want. If you look at the code in the game I would bet it gives junk options if you don’t Watch ads. Guess you just have to like to watch ads so you can change the options once. It’s a sham because this could be a really good game.

Is fun, it’s good. But most of the stages are hard to progress. Players will quit.

I made it through the tutorial level. The first thing I’m shown is an ad for a vip pass. $10 per month or $50 lifetime. I close that and am hit by more ads for purchases. I haven’t even played the base game for more than 1 level! It could be a fun game. But not with such an upfront money grab. Don’t get.

5 energy for one stage, and you start with thirty total. It’s a great way to reward players with infinite expendable income, and encourage everyone else to do something besides play this game. It’s a tired old way to try and take players money, and a steep $50 will get you no ads forever. Bad.
