My handicap is wrong and i cant get it right
I can’t waste any more time trying to add/edit/remove shots when they are off. When the app tracks well (from the watch, then saved to the app) it is pretty cool. However if the app is off base on a given hole it is frustrating trying to edit for the reality of what actually happened. Overall I find it useful, once my completed round has been saved on my phone. I can post the score (manually with stats) to the USGA app to track for my handicap.
My GPS does not work and will take forever to find a course. Not happy
Love just about everything Garmin does. As an active person who dives, flies, and plays golf, Garmin has me covered. However when a new course opens or has a major re-work, they are the worst. Course management (new exclusive club) has told me they were informed that Garmin doesn't do anything until Google maps shows it. So 8 months in we're still waiting. My S62 is worthless. Other apps can use drones for flyovers and scorecards. Not Garmin.
Garmin GPS watch uses swing speed and impact (to ground) to automatically detect a golf shot. So for a driver shot, it is using swing speed only, and it needs to lower the threshold for such a shot.
I have used this app only once, and it appears to be lacking a key feature that I value quite highly and have used in apps from other golf companies. I want to be able to tap at any spot on the image of the entire hole and see the distance from my location to that spot. That is the only thing that I need that is not already provided by my Garmin GPS watch, and is the only reason I will use my smartphone during a round. It can’t be that difficult to provide that information if other apps can do it. If I am mistaken, and that data is available, I hope someone will inform me how to access it. If not, I will simply use my Garmin S12 and a competitor’s app that provides that key information.
They have to fix the login thing. I shouldn't constantly have to reenter my username/password.
I just can’t. I really like being able to play local courses even as it is displayed as a cartoonish version. However, I’ve done everything in my power to make the R10 as accurate as possible with the tips and tricks that are out there for indoor use. The app is just not accurate in giving me my distances. I downloaded and am using the Awesome Golf app which is much more accurate in terms of my distances using the R10. I really hope this can get fixed because I’d much rather be using this app.
I just paid the $10 a month and tried a course at the driving range. None of my shots were reading correctly. My great drives did not read at all. Still lots of bugs that should be fixed before they start charging. Already regretting my $10 purchase.
The distance to the greens is off by 15 Yards on all three courses I played. Is there something that I need to do to correct the issue?
