Been on site for a few years, but slowly noticed the site is becoming infected with scammers, no idea what is going on????
Can’t log in.
Can’t use it
More scam bots than users
Very rare to get a genuine conversation let alone meet any guys on here. Riddled with scammers lately, all just wanting to harvest email details - 4 on the trot in barely an hour today. Devs need to get a grip on the fakes.
Crashing plus other problems
App is crashing & apparently I’m receiving winks (according to notifications) but these are not reflected/visible in the app itself. Not sure the sub they’re charging is worth it.
Waste of time
Downloaded to see what it was like. Complete waste of time. As others have said it peaked a long time ago and they lost their market.
I can’t even log in
I can log in with the website but unfortunately the website doesn’t render properly on my iPhone or iPad, so I downloaded the app to see if it worked better but I can’t even log in. I contacted the customer service which took 24 hours to get back to me only to tell me that basically they couldn't help
This app peaked a decade ago.
Horrendous app. It used to be much better 10+ years ago. Now everything on here is situated behind a paywall. I remember when you could filter your searches and find profiles from all over your city. Even further! Other countries even. Gaydar has now followed Grindr’s formula of now only letting you view guys due to proximity. But in a less satisfying way. At least Grindr’s perks were that it has a lot more users and it also had the “explore” feature. Why emulate an app that was created after this app? Gaydar was better when it was a simple online hookup site that where you could search for other guys without any hassle. That was the appeal. Now that there is a paywall behind the search engine and a limited view of the profiles there it honestly just cheapens the app. The straw that broke the camel’s back was when I couldn’t even successfully upload a simple shirtless photo (only torso) because it was deemed too x-rated. Back to Grindr I go.

What an absolute load of crap. You can’t even sign in... constantly getting invalid user/password messages even after resetting my password. Used to be amazing years ago... now clearly 100% unusable. Sad!

For crying out loud. You’d think these guys would know what they are doing. But damn, it’s wrong, all wrong. It couldn’t be much worse.
