NO UNSUITABLE MATCHES
We will only serve you matches that meet your search criteria (including your non-negotiable deal breakers). So, if you are looking for matches aged 25-35 within a 5-mile radius of where you live, unlike many other dating services, we will not waste your time by suggesting a match aged 45 who lives 50 miles away. What’s the point in that? In fact, you could restrict your search further to people over 5’10” who are uni-educated, non-smokers, living on their own who want kids, if you wanted (those are just a few of the search options available).
We use 100%, two-way, matching to ensure ALL suggested matches meet BOTH people’s search criteria…that is just one of the unique features that makes us different!
MORE PRIVACY
Concerned about a lack of anonymity when using a dating app (e.g. that you could be seen by work colleagues or neighbours etc. trawling through member’s profiles)? As there is no public search function, and no public access to our member profiles, the only people who will ever see your profile, and know you are using the GDO app, are those that have been matched with you, based on both matches’ selected search criteria (a 100% two-way match).
Some people also feel pressurised to respond to messages immediately as other users know when they are, or have been, online. With GDO, no other members will know when you are online, except when using the in-app chat feature (i.e. typing now), so you can interact with your matches at your own leisure whenever you have free time.
NO INAPPROPRIATE PHOTO MESSAGES
Our in-app messaging function only allows text, emojis and GIFs to be sent therefore you will never receive any random sexually explicit photos or links. Plus, only matches who both like each other’s profiles can message one another.
NO GHOSTING
Tired of investing time on a match only for them to disappear without trace? We aim to minimise this by requiring a reason for ceasing interaction (using our quick and easy Polite Decline feature) as a matter of courtesy to help deliver a better experience.
