GearLog

I’ve been using it now for around 8 months 6 of those on the free version. Even in its free version it is great but the basic paid version is even better, I have 10 different sites worth of gear (1200 items) in the system and it tracks inspections, retirement dates etc and sends emails when stuff is due retirement. With the “sites “ option enabled the emails can go to the people at the sites responsible for the gear and also to me. The developers are very open to feedback and have added some new equipment Categories and features on request. If you need to keep track of equipment this is the best value app out there.

We use this for tracking our equipment for a local volunteer Predator control program. We found it useful and the developers responded to our requests promptly and constructively.

I have recently downloaded GearLog and I have to say it’s a wicked app. There is nothing else I have found out there that has the ease of use. The support from the team at GearLog is epic they can help you customize the platform to be perfect for your needs. 100% recommend to anyone who has heaps of gear and wants a modern way to keep it all sorted.

Gear Log is such an amazing tool. Allowing you to create lists of all your equipment, set details such as size, colour, bought date, price, end date, and inspections. If you have equipment or details that’s not part Gear Log, contact them and they add it for you. Fantastic

Great app for keeping in control of gear, dates of service, and logging anything needing monitoring. Caters for a wide variety of sports with PPE. Good customer service too.

What an awesome app for keeping track of all of your gear. It will also save from buying stuff that I already have if I have t used it for a long time. And will help with the planning of my adventures it’s a great professional app couldn’t recommend more

Even though a newbie to GearLog, I find it easy to use and a well organised logging system. Any questions I have are answered immediately. As a medical officer for a Scottish Mountain Rescue Team, I need to keep well organised and thorough records. It’s hard to keep my eye on over 150 items of lifesaving kit, GearLog does it for me. Great app, would thoroughly recommend.

What a fantastic app. GearLog is a professional setup with all the features you’d ever need to keep professional quality records on your PPE. The developer is clearly part of the community and understands the demands placed on organisations to keep accurate records. I have 15 years of experience looking after gear , and this app has been revolutionary. Genuinely highly recommend this.
